Has anyone tried out StinkBud's method "Pound every 3 weeks"?

Seriously? That many pages and posts and you want to know if anybody else does it? My refined stinkbud system is almost pulling 3 pounds every three weeks under a 1k, but my nute recipe is much better.

Seriously yes, I have read the StinkBud's thread way before posting this. I have seen his Youtube channel as well, but there are a few loopholes that I couldn't find answers to, thence this thread. I'm sorry, but I am not gonna browse page by page via over thousand pages just to see whether anyone has asked my question. I bought his newest book last night, so I should be okay. My main question was how often does he clean his flowering machines, that's all.

And obviously, I don't wanna know if anyone else does it; that's obvious. I wanna hear their experience.

I was only pointing you in the right area! He posts there and answers questions there..
Never read his book but if it were me i would clean after every run just my 2 cents.

Thanks, but this is it. That's what he says "Clean every run" (haven't finished reading the new book, only read the older version on the net). But in flower the run is 2 months, right? Basically, you have three 9 week runs running simultineously at different stages. So you clean once in 9 weeks? Thanks.

As a cycle finishs you should or could clean... If you dont see a bactiria issue and your micro life is
good you could skip cleaning. But if your running sterile with h202 i would clean for sure.

I'm trying it next round, going to keep a spare unit around, switch it in quick/easy, keep things rolling, clean the other, which is now the spare and ready for the next batch... No different than having a spare pump around, you know one will fail at the worst time...

Your title pretty much sums it up. I could be a huge resource if you werent so rude.
I wasn't being rude -- only defensive because of your sarcasm "Seriously? That many pages and posts and you want to know if anybody else does it?." You made the first offensive step towards me. I have nothing against you at all, but I take shit from no one

I would be grateful if you want to share your knowledge, but it's up to you. I didn't wanna be rude, but go over the posts and think about it. You were not nice to me first, and you presumed that I was lazy and hadn't gone through StinkBud's sticky...

Yeah, but I presume once you put the plants in the flowering machine you can take 'em out till the harvest as the roots will knot together; they will grow together, no?

Yeah, once you start a round, you would have to finish it, it would just be handy to focus on getting the new grow going first and not have to spend time on cleaning the old one until the next round is dialled in.

Yeah, sure one more day in veg won't kill it. I mean you at harvest, you take out the plants. Clean all debris, run bleached water for a few hours, then clean water, change the sprayers for clean ones. That sure takes some hours, so one more day for the plants in the vegger won't kill em.

But anyway, to the point. So you clean the machine right after harvest. So, that means the machine is not clean out 2 months, right?

Yes for 2months the system isnt able to be cleaned!

and this in part is due to how the roots will grow together and knot up.

your first post had me thinking you either didnt see the sticky and didnt read the thread.
simple mistake on my part!

Superstoner like stinkbud run these setups alot and are the go to peeps around these parts.

I should have made it clearer as well that I have read the sticky in the first post. None of us are perfect.

Now Stinkbud ain't around, not even his forum "stinkbuddies", and superstoner is offended by me so no gain there :).

I tell what I've noticed: a lot of people when they answer they kinda half answer your question and also throw in some quite irritating sarcasm. I don't know if they do it consciously or not. And when a certain person like me for instance picks up on the sarcasm because it might offending at times (like subtle hints that you are stupid,or lazy, or you didn't do your search, etc), so they always kinda throw it in. And when a receptive person picks up on that, then they call you an ungrateful jerk, like: "hey man, I was just trying to help and you are rude". I mean like if one is trying to help, he won't be adding subtle nuances to offend. Some people like to use sarcasm and when it
bounces back, they are like "what an ass". For example, last night I open up a thread and spent like 2 hours arguing over stupid things. My first time in this forum this thread and last night I was kinda arguing...

I have let my systems get refilled without cleaning and have gone up to 6 months without being cleaned with no problems. If your environment is stable there are no worries.

Thank you, Superstoner, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge. I certainly don't have a problem with cleaning it out after harvervest. But what I am confused about is whether you have to change the reservoirs in the flowering cycle, or do you just add in bit of water and nutes now and then (correct ppms of course)

Never add in just a bit, ever. Always start with fresh res and replace on schedule. I have a very good nute recipe/schedule in my thread, my 3 stages of flower. If you are constantly adding bad stuff builds up.
