1. Utopia- (from Wiki) The story follows a small group of people who find themselves in possession of the manuscript sequel of a cult graphic novel called "The Utopia Experiments" which is rumored to have predicted the worst disasters of the last century. This leads them to be targeted by an organization known as 'The Network', which they must avoid to survive. Using the manuscript, they must uncover the meaning hidden in its pages before the disasters depicted become reality.

what pothead doesn't love a good conspiracy

2. The Returned-In a small mountain town, many dead people reappear, apparently alive and normal: road accident victim teenager Camille, suicidal bridegroom Simon, a small boy named "Victor" who was murdered by burglars, and Serge, a serial killer. They try to resume their lives as strange phenomena occur; amongst recurring power outages, the water level of the reservoir mysteriously lowers, revealing the presence of dead animals and a church steeple, and strange marks appear on the bodies of the living and the dead.

I never thought I'd like this because it isn't in English, but if you can stand to read subtitles, it is insanely good.

3. Banshee-Banshee takes place in the fictional small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania. After serving 15 years in prison for stealing diamonds from a Ukrainian gangster called Mr. Rabbit, the unnamed protagonist travels to Banshee to find his heist accomplice and former lover, Anastasia. When he finds her, the protagonist learns that she is now a married mother of two living under the assumed identity of Carrie Hopewell. Later, when the incoming Sheriff is killed, the protagonist takes on his identity as Lucas Hood, becoming the town's new Sheriff. Banshee sees Hood struggle with adapting to his new identity while dealing with the machinations of local crime lord Kai Proctor, and remaining hidden from Rabbit.

This is my guilty pleasure. It's got tons of sex, violence, profanity, and might just make you laugh.

I used to host a poker game in which my entire vinyl collection was accessible. Basil Rathbone reading "the Raven" got a lot of play. Beat "My America" by Reagan 3:1. Shatner (shatter? Really autocorrect? What have you been reading?) and Nimoy and Mrs. Miller were the top three.
Edit: and Jim Neighbors.
Edit: Nabors?
Edit: Gomer!

Just can't get into House of Lies. Makes me feel dirty. Still watch it, but only after a few weeks build up and I'm in the right, cynical mood. Maybe I just find their sexy girl very, very boring. No Emmy Rossum, that's for sure. Another highly acclaimed show is "Veep". 's ok. But I don't look forward to it. Both are well done though.

I heart Al Swearingen ('sweggin!). Best character arc ever.

Thank for the tip. Yeah, Discovery is a disgrace. Still dig deadliest catch. Better producers.

Can't knock Firefly or Deadwood myself. Went around calling everybody a cocksucka after watching that.
Yeah, well in the real world, I speak exactly like Jessie Pinkman, bitch.

Yeah, that was one great scene in a world class episode. Up here with the Wire's five minutes of meaningful dialogue where the only word used was 'motherfuck(er)'. Genius.

Yea i dnt know why i like house of lies. Im a don cheadle fan, dnt really care for the rest of the cast but dammit its addicting. Veep kinda bores me but theres been some funny episodes and julia is gettin sexier as she ages. Shameless is just up my alley. Tons of nudity, violence, and family togetherness.

My only guilty pleasure on the boob tube.

It's not Shakespeare but the tongue in cheek humour is a nice distraction from the mundane.

Shameless is a good show. I liked how I thought Emmy Rossum was so cute and adorable in The Day After Tomorrow then years later i get to see her dirty and naked in Shameless. Patience is a virtue.

I used to enjoy gold rush. Have read a lot of the history and enjoyed seeing glimpses of it. it's devolved into a Circus. Discovery has a new drama on the '98 Klondike run. Low expectations. I think it might be called Klondike.
