Hmmm, local market for small hard assets higher than world price? Sounds like the Chinese.

Bet if you shake those diplomatic pouches, they would rattle. Hmm, how many tusks.......?

One of my wife's favorite. I think it may have jumped the shark early.
I mocked it, I fought watching it, I got couch-locked, and the boss lady played it. Thought Zooey was going to be a mediocre actress, like her sister, instead -- she's very pretty, and can actually act.

I dunno about jumping the shark.

House of Lies, another one that's good. Especially if you've ever done corporate consulting.

I have (corporate consulting). Never got the joke back then either. Show's well done. Can't watch.

Re: Zoe - Oh, she's adorable and talented. My theory, coach=the shark. The writing was very good but the plot seems like it has lost focus.

I would just like to take this opportunity to say that all the characters from the atrocity of a show "How I Met Your Mother" should be mercilessly gunned down in a St Valentine's style massacre, IMHO. Years ago.

TCM + DVR = "Skidoo", 1968. Jackie Gleason, Carol Channing. A gangster and former hitman is ordered by superiors to get arrested and go to jail to bump off a mobster, but while in prison, he's accidentally dosed with LSD and, after having his consciousness expanded, leaves his violent lifestyle behind. Also starring Frank Gorshen, Peter Lawrence, Frankie Avalon, Caesar Romero, Mickey Rooney, Harry Nilsson and many, many more. Why have I never heard of this film?

Is anybody watching True Detective on HBO? Harrelson and McConahey. Neither are my favorites but I'm thinking I may have failed to appreciate their talents. Pretty good show.

On HBO Go: Lucky Louie
Louis C. K.

Don't know if it's still being aired, but if you haven't seen it, it's funny as hell -- stoner funny, with a really Louis C.K. twist.
