First post, I never use forums, read them allot but normally don't post.
However just another person wanting to register their poor experiences with Bonza seeds as they seem to be giving me messing me about and have been for over a month.
Ordered early December, payment was charged fine and it seemed to all go through alright. It sat there with nothing happening for a few days so I emailed for the first time just to check everything was alright with the payment as I wanted to place another order but didn't want to do it until the first one had shipped. A couple of days later I received a notification that it had shipped (which according to the thread earlier on is just a "warehousing term....so the first bit of BS).
I asked for the Royal Mail tracking number, there was no response. I left it a while (about a week to 10 days) and asked again, I was told that they were "having some problems with Royal Mail" and that their tracking isn't working, that they were looking into it, and that it was Royal Mails fault not theirs. I understood and said that was Ok, just looking forward to receiving.
Sensing they were a bit dodge I placed the other order with a different company, it was shipped the same day, and I received it about a week later.
At this point I asked again as to what had happened, no response (presumably on break although there was no notice on the site) no response from the internal messaging system at all either. Left it a while longer and asked again in the new year. I was then notified that the order had "just shipped" as there was a payment problem and that I should receive it soon, no tracking for the Royal Mail again (so I can't prove it was ever sent which was really all I wanted it for, to check it had actually gone out and wasn't just another "warehousing term"). This was for the order they already told me they sent once, and had a separate excuse for the tracking on so it really did sound a tad fishy. I basically called them on it and said "if there was a problem with the order originally why did you say it had shipped and was untrackable?" no response to that of course.
So anyway, its been over a month of back and forth, mucking around with these guys and at this point all I can do is continue to wait, I have basically given up on it though if it arrives it will be a bonus. This I assume is why people told me not to bother with Bonza, by the sounds of it when they have their shit in order they are half alright, but everything I read time and again posts just like mine from people who are unhappy come up and it matches my experiences with them to a T.
I am just going to suck it up and assume they have taken me for a ride and had a nice holiday with mine (and others) money and shipped me nothing, if the order arrives I will be very very surprised and thankful however I won't redact this as whether or not I get it, the experience with getting something from them is more painful than having teeth out. There are loads of other banks who gladly ship promptly and without excuses, this isn't one of them so unless you enjoy headaches its probably not worth the hassle.
Now I know a Bonza rep will be along probably shortly to apologize and say its not the norm, we will look into it, PM me and we will smooth it over, he must be from a rival seedbank, this is unfair etc etc etc. Ultimately I am not going to beg for adequate service, either they provide it or they don't and in this instance the service has been utterly poor at best, in the honor system word of mouth is everything so by sharing my experiences I might save some others some time and worry.
