someone who makes a million is gonna spend a fraction of their income on taxed goods. so only 20% or so of their income is gonna get taxed at 20%. so 4%.

someone who makes $20,000 a year is gonna spend about their entire income on taxed goods. so 90% or so of their income is gonna get taxed at 20%. so 18%.

so the millionaire has a 4% tax and the working poor has an 18% tax under your little regressive scam.

Nope. Fuel taxes pay for roads. The heavier the vehicle, the more fuel it uses.

Maybe the "floaters" just won't go down the drain with just two gallons? I know I sometimes have to flush multiple times. I'm doubtful the two gallon toilets actually save any water.
