you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor or check
out a library book, but not to vote who runs the government.

False. 30 states currently require some form of ID when voting, 7 other states have
passed ID laws that will soon go into effect, and most remaining states have similar
legislation pending. -

in the largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not a 24-ounce soda

False. The New York "soda law" was struck down by a judge *before* it went into effect. -

-----------------------------------------

an 80-year-old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA but a woman in a hijab is only
subject to having her neck and head searched

False. Travelers who object to the body scanners used by TSA are subject to "intensive
pat downs" administered by a same-sex member of the TSA, there is no exemption for Muslim
women or anyone else. -

children are forcibly removed from parents who discipline them with spankings while
children of addicts are left in filth and drug infested “homes”

False. Every state has provisions for removing children from "filth and drug infested
homes." Use of corporal punishment in a home is legal in all 50 states. -

-----------------------------------------

not working is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing and
free cell phones

False. These "rewards" are indexed to income, not employment. Whether you work or not,
you can qualify for EBT, WIC and Medicaid if you're below the poverty line (many people
working full time jobs for minimum wage, for example, are still below the poverty line).
There are programs that provide low interest *loans* for phones or small discounts off a
monthly phone bill, but no one gets free cell phones from the government except elected
officials... -

-----------------------------------------

the government's plan for getting people back to work is to incentivize NOT working
with 99 weeks of unemployment checks and no requirement to prove they applied but can’t
find work

False. Unemployment checks come with strict requirements for documenting employment
applications. And the checks are too small to constitute an "incentive," otherwise
(obviously) most people would quit their jobs... -

You can’t handle the truth! …Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who’s gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinburg? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That Santiago’s death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don’t want the truth because deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don’t give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally ...
Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

By Junius P. Long

Hunting and Fishing is regulated by state. Illegal aliens cross Federal borders. Oh, and those who are here without permission from the federal government are not fish or deer.

See the difference? It is really quite simple - they are completely different things - no contradiction, just someone looking at an apple thinking it is an orange.

Yet.... the speaker showed that he was perfectly willing to ignore the law, and the Constitution and likely went to the same imaginary prison in the imaginary world that this imaginary quote came from.

I've witnessed many of your posts and responses the last couple of weeks, and i have yet to see any intelligence at work. I'm sure you have yourself confused with another member.

i always evaluate myself according to the standard of deluded dullards. it's not the only way, just the best way!

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion ...
Then you might live in a country run by idiots.

By Junius P. Long

When students are beaten, thrown out of their homes, ridiculed, or worse, for going on a field trip, then there might be a point to this. Beyond that, when schools are held legaly responsible for abortions as they are with field trips, you again, might have a point.

you have already demonstrated that you don't know what a contradiction is, and that you don't know how to form sentences properly or use question marks where appropriate.

so i'm sure you'll understand when i just laugh at your feeble mental struggles.

that's already been done, you fucking idiot.

> you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but
> not for being in the country illegally

False. Border Patrol officers and other law enforcement arrested
365,000 illegal aliens in 2012; hunting without a license ("poaching")
rarely earns one more than a monetary fine in most states. -
Sanctuary is a term for cities, counties, or states that are defying a federal law relative to the various government agencies being required to assist the federal government with their illegal immigrants. San Francisco is well known for being a sanctuary city, they are also well know for being one of the most liberal cities in the US.

So, you got that one wrong.

By your own admission, 20 states do not require an ID to vote.
You are not very good at this.

By Junius P. Long

Voting is a right, boarding a plane is not a right. Cashing a check is an agreement that you are who you say you are and your check is as good as you say it is between two individuals or an individual and a private business, Although you have a right to the library, you have no inherent right to check that book out. The primarly purpose of requiring ID in order to vote is well known by anyone who is interested enough to look, is to deprive some classes of folks of that right - to vote. Again, no contradiction, no comparison and apparently, no capacity to comprehend what each transaction repesents for Mr. Long.

if san francisco doesn't deport illegal immigrants, then why were protesters blocking a bus that was deporting illegal immigrants?

wanna take another shot, dummy?
