i used to used that for walls to seperate my veg and bloom rooms, i got the idea to use that from a video on youtube called "i grow chronic" ft. mr green, the guy paints himself completely green and gives a complete grow tutorial lol

nice, right now I'm just a little worried for space for the mother, i need to trim and clone her enough that it wont kill her but will also supply me with 10-8 clones every two weeks, that and possibly the smell, i have a 170cfm fan, and two carbon activated filters, which will be blowing out my window, any thoughts on this?

Yes, that is panda plastic [white / black]. Mr Green.....lolz, he actually did it pretty good. I remember watching his videos almost 5 years ago, geez, doesn't seem that long ago.....Han's too, have them both on burned dvd somewhere.....shhh don't tell....
Panda plastic is great, I helped a patient build a temporary room once, with 2k HPS and panda plastic, velcro and yes, lots of foil tape. He rocked that shit for about 6 months, nary a light leak! Its good!

I would top and pick and bend anything else leftover, for the absolute best strategy for growth, side bushing and clonage....

yeah thats what im asking, im just concerned guests will come over and smell it from my basement back room

^ In theory, yeah, it should, but there are always variables. But going out the window [discreetly!], being in the basement and having a filter, will definitely minimize that.
Strain could be the biggest variable, some are just smelly: cheese, OG, Diesels, etc. etc.
No air leaks is another, obviously...[but the + is that there are probably not any light leaks either....win!]
Go buy some smelly house plants, lavendar, lemon grass, mints........... burn potpurri, incense.....don't let people in your basement if you can at all help it......

You're going to have light leaks between your chambers. You're not going to have enough light to produce any good amount of bud, you'll be lucky to get 8 not 80 grams. Once you address 1 and 2 you're going to have heat problems. You're either stealth or you aren't, and you aren't, so you may as well have bought a lil 2x2 tent and a 150 hps for half the price. Sorry for being blunt but you pretty much blew $270 but at least you had fun building it! It's all a good learning experience in the end.

I got some G13xAmnesiaHaze that has been in flower for 12 weeks and it is still not done
Have you grown 1 gram yet? let alone 80!

I have checked i have no light leaks in between chambers, i dont see how you would think this. secound, its been running for about a week and my heat in both chambers is 26 degrees, with an average humidity of 53%, i do agree that this could go to shit and could possibly grow nothing, but a SOG in cabinet is alot speedier than a 2x2 tent, plus, its a tent, i cant hide a tent in plain sight

i have an over lapping system of 4 plants growing, technically ill be growing 8 budding plants, 8 rooted clones and 10+ clones
and im growing the church, so 8 weeks, and is 20g/24" plant impossible, no, most SOG growers average between 15g-32g from 12-18 inch plants
i have seen people do this with a set up of soil and florescent lights

not trying to be a buzzkill but even if you stuffed this thing full of plants the lighting you have will never be able to generate that much bud at one time, my last harvest from my hps was 39 grams and the one before that only got 28 grams. it really boils down to the lighting .incandecents and cfls just dont have the spectrum and lumens that a hps would. some might disagree and i have seen big harvests from cfls but with a cab so small if you crammed enough cfls in there to get your lighting to par youll be dealing with a major heat issue. a good thing about a hps is that you can mount the ballast in a seperate area to keep the heat out. i think youll find an hps with a cooltube the best for your cab.i use one and i swear by it.i got mine for 60 bucks used. and made a cooltube out of a hurricane glass and yes, foiltape lol

yes first upgrade for my cab will be a MH and HPS lights for each side ( i heard using both mh and hps is good for veg is this true?) and if i can illl probably do them through a cool tube just to be safe,
And Commander strax, i will have a female mother, that i take female clones from, meaning i do not have to wait for sexing, hell i could right into flowering with clones, just way less yeild, if you want to know more about exactly how to do a 2 week harvesting system look up "han's sea of green closet cultivation" its about an hour or so long but very in depth about how to grow SOG. its all about short single cola plants, nothin more.

ive also considered led lights for both sides because of space restrictions on the whole hps and mh hood, but im unsure of the watts or how many lights i would need blah blah blah, led lights are the one thing im iffy on

if you can get a big enough sheet of glass you can make an air cooled hood out of a piece of thin sheet metal if you cut it right you can connect the edges with a pop rivits and seal with whatever (foil tape) haha i made one that was less than 4 inches in hieght and held a 150w hps. id like to see you go bigger though since you have the 170cfm fans.i was working with 50 cfm fan and 3 inch ducting. you could probably get 400 watter in there if you can keep it cool enough then id say you could pull off a good QP easy. youll have to think about the headroom you have to in between your containers too. i only have 9 inches to work with so i spread it across the screen first and only let the buds come up through.and get max 9"buds my container is 6" high i believe and total hieght is less than 21" inside the cab.looks like you have a little more than that right?
i think your talking about the "cree" led lights? ive heard good things about those and maybe you could use those for side lighting. ive also heard you can use UV reptile lights to boost resin production. ive wanted to test that but have yet to find a uv light like that. ive also been looking into building my own LED panel, but its just so complicated and im pretty strapped for cash at the moment. i just want to test it though, i think my 150w HPS cooltube does the best for the price i payed.
