It looks like nitro tox but not sure how

She's spent over a month in a 50/50 mix of ocean forest and happy frog so the nitro in ocean forest was diluted to begin with and now it should be pretty much gone. I had a bit of a upside down canoeing problem before but I got a thermometer and the tops were pushing 90 so I raised the light and that seemed to help but I switched over to flowering and it's back and twisting but the tops don't break 80. A few bottom leaves have turned brown like a phosphorus deficiency. She's gotten 1 watering with 1-4-5 nutes and is under a 400 watt hps.

You sure there's no bugs? Rust mites, root aphids ect?

90 aint hot and shouldn't cause that. I might agree 90 is not "ideal" or whatever but 90 really isnt that big a deal and won't just kill a plant.

I haven't seen any bugs. It's weird how it's fine then all of a sudden 12/12 I get problems. I've grown once before and it pulled the same shit except with legit nitro tox. Starting to piss me off.

What about your ph then, like supchaka said? Even straight OF might burn a tad on a baby but shouldn't tox and the N you added was only 1.

I have moms in HF right now barely over a month old I am dosing them like 2000 ppm of a 3x16 and they're fine.
Its like almost 2tsp per gallon water soluble maxsea at about 2000ppm so should be about an npk of 10-10-10 or maybe a lil more.

I have to ask, was the HF/OF you used using oyster shells as a buffer or dolomite lime?
I always add lime to the FFHF, just sayin.

Nah I don't have a ph meter it hasn't been a problem before. She sprouted in straight ocean forest and burned pretty bad so when I transplanted into her final pot I used the rest of the ocean forest and then happy frog the rest because I didn't want to buy 2 bags. There's nothing in there but the two dirts.

Organic sources of nitrogen take time to become available for uptake. Likely an abundunce of nitrogen was present and becoming available before you fed more nitrogen making it worse.

They say ocean forest has enough nutes in it for a month, and it's been closer to two months that's why I'm confused.

N really?

Most ppl using OF add guano, worm castings ect.....and dood says he only fed a 1-4-5 fert only once.
Is N tox even possible in this case?

Im stuck on overwatering.

400w HPS right?
temps 80?
What's the container size and the water schedule?

They shouldn't be root bound she's in a 5 gallon fabric pot. Yeah 400w and temps around 80, I water every few days when the pots light.

Have you ever not watered till it was obviously lacking to try and get as much o2 as possible to the root zone?

Once or twice I try to get her before she wilts though. I just flushed as they told me to try in newbie central I'll let her dry out real real good.

My plant did the same and turned out in those air pots (the black type) the water leaks out on the sides before reaching the very bottom (It's quite the lanky pot I have to say (10L)), so my top soil was regularly watered while the bottom - I don't know if it really ever seen water... How about you water it throughly with a LIGHT nutrient solution nextime? Be sure to pour some into the tray of the might if you think this might be the cause.

PS: The water actually reached the bottom of the pot, but only on one spot, like it was spring water running through stone.
... and yes, I'm pretty sure my soil is absorbent enough. :D

You need to ease water into dry soil. Even in a plastic pot the water will run off down the sides and out the bottom. Water gradually so it soaks in.

I see the water sink into the middle and I can feel the weight of it, it's getting water.
