oh yes I saw them unfortunately. It was one of those trainwreck kind of moments. I couldn't look away...but it was sad. Stoned cockatoo then photoshopped shrimp all over them and it was great lol.

I love how the community comes together to discuss new (not even new) discovery's in horticulture. Especially when most of the community has already accepted the idea in various forms is fans to increase stem diameter. I almost thought I was reading YouTube comments, considering nothing on topic actually got discussed, everything was negative, and most likely was typed by a 15 yr old in his closet with his mom sniffing around the house. Fin, most of us aren't retarded, and are actually interested in what you have to say. Im willing to bet every naysayer has some form of stress on their plant whether they realize it or not. Also, all these comments are coming from dopers that grow purely for the "instant" gratification of THC content. No one really considers how resilience is passed on genetically, so what may degrade THC content in mama bear may very well boost baby bears production. But hey, its not like Advancement's in horticulture happened by trying and discussing new ideas or anything...

I know that a faceless growers opinion that he heard from a guy that heard it from another guy always trumps science and double blind studies and such... BUT. Let's consider this. Maybe. JUST MAYBE. These scientists know what their talking about. What a world we would live in huh? Anyway. We all know the raw potential that wild pot has to grow and prosper. We all have seen proof that wild pot can actually out class hydro in some situations. If we focused our foggy brain cells on the topic at hand and not erm... "WITTY" comments, then we would harken back to stories such as how new yorkers found a plesant surprise in their sewer systems, after years of growers/users flushing their product down the toilet, ALBINO weed grew, in monster sizes, these very STRESSED plants grew in sewage. With no light. And was very potent. Hmmmmmm......

The funniest among us would suggest that some kind hearted soul with a lamp and several thousand yards of extension cord kept these babies warm at night. The smartest among us would dare to dream that these plants, after several generations of extreme levels of stress that I'm sure would DEGRADE THC LEVELS, if not stunt them all together, evolved and adapted to the stress and thrived in ways that most of you guys only have wet dreams about. Which brings me to my problem with most growers.
Instant gratification.
All these chillun with their allowances going out buying lamps and nutes, all they really care about is the bottom line. How much X am I going to get out of Y by the end of Z. You want instant and optimal results out of your plant, with no thought to your actual plants well being, or it's offspring. No ones really willing to bite the bullet and let 3 or 4 gens of plant do bad to make future gens hardy and potent, because then they can't blow themselves up trying to make honey hash oil. It would be nice to see an actuall discussion on the topic, regardless of the OP financial situation or experience. You can be a complete idiot and still see something smart.

Its actually my first name.... I'm a new poster but I've been following for quite some time. Don't really care about his vids, and I'm sure I agree about my kids without even looking at them. I imagine 50 percent of these posters are long haired beanie wearing culturally confused chillun bobbing their heads to WAKKA FLAKKA. But again. Stress is an accepted part of growing. Whether its setting up a fan to strengthen stems or clipping the top of your plant to produce extra colas. These are recognized and accepted stressing methods. Stress is a primary factor in the results of outside grows, there are factors we can't replicate in an artificial setting. Who's to say that out of ten plants, you over expose them with UV, pick the plants that did the best, breed them with each other, wash rinse repeat and a few gens down the line, you create a monster. No one here, because we can't even have a mature conversation on the topic, REGARDLESS of the OP financial situation or levels of retardidness. He didn't do the study, he's just starting a conversation on it. A 5 yr old could try to babble about it and it wouldn't make the argument any less valid, the 5 yr old didn't make the study, he just wants to discuss it. I could care less what he does in his free time, I just want to see some info on the topic. How retarded is it to bring up a scientific study and have hundreds of replies that look like youtube comments. Whats the point of even commenting? Its natural selection. Where there's life, there's a way, and that life will find a way not only to live, but to thrive and prosper, whether its instant or many gens down the line.
Maybe all you potheads should take a step back from your plants, put down your bongs, and look at your plants not as a consumable resource you can exploit for your own gain, but a living, breathing, FEELING being that exists, grows, thinks, adapts, and above all else, wants to LIVE LONG AND PROSPER. I bet that attitude would change a few soccer moms attitudes.
A fresh perspective brings new ideas to the table that everyone in the community can benefit from. Whether your a head bobbing bass thumping jackass or a tappdancing Nancy. Peace guys!
