I just harvested my second dwc single plant. in a 2 by 3 closet. 178grams. whats up. are you going to paint your bucket. Make sure you dont have too much air. if you see root tips, its too turbulant

i lstd just like tyhat. mine vegged for 4 months and i learned so much!
its VERY EASY. stay low ppm, i like aqua flakes, you will be ok

cool, i know i got to cover the container with something to keep the algea from growing, the other ones i just used foil tape all over the outside of it. ill probably do that soon as a get a new roll of it.. and it seems like the roots are loving the extra air stone, the root mat is so thick that it traps the bubbles all through it. the guy at the hydro shop recommended something that dissolves the old dead root material into something the plant can uptake, and something called great white, a root stimulator i believe.

CMH. My hps ballast blew on 2 week flower. I used a 400mh. Aqua flakes, they are da bomb. Look at their website. They are shady about whats in their soup, its because you dont overthink them. The roots stuff is crazy when vegging and and they have perfected the shooting powder marajuana doubles. The flower gets tricked or something and sites double. Ph is stable. MOAST IMPORTANT. Never get root rot. Do you need to know how to prevent it..? dWC can go south in a day, i would only use benificials during veg nd then go all chem. i know ill get tea baggers...lol out there, but house and gardens stuff TOO ME is best for RDWC or dwc. Shiva shante. Is the strain. Sativa dom.

I USED great white as well. Dude, my roots are out on theporch. They are georgeous. I opened up the stems to aee the hydro hole, and it was perfect. Aqua flakes has got it all.do you see any hairesvfloating in water? Why are you not using a 5 gal bucket. I used a lowes insulated drink thing. Temps more stable and zero light

my cab is only 21" in height inside , i used 5 gallon buckets with top feed dwc in a closet 400w hps and was getting 2.5-3 oz per plant back then, and i had 8 ft of hieght.but im using about a 3rd of the watts for this, 150w hps.

no i dont have any hairs floating the roots dont really move around that much.but i do agree that a 5 gallon nute batch is more stable, but for this i just have to change it and clean it more often. this was just some bagseed from some good reggie i got. its an indica dominant strain but basically a mutt.lol im hoping to have a better yeild with my sour d.

i havent seen much flowering with metal halides but i guess if you have to in a pinch, why not.i would be interested in the comparison with hps.

You should think about diastatic malt barley extract or usually just called malted barley flour too. There are ton of enzymes and they will eat roots. You can find it online and at just about any homebrew store. I buy 1lb of it for about $3. 1 tbsp: 1 gallon.

After I am done cutting a plant, I cut the stem and recycle my pot for about 2-4 weeks. I topdress with Espoma and other stuff and water with the malted barley. After 2-weeks, I come back and plant either a clone ball or seeds and most the root mass will have disappeared by then.

This is an old organic gardening trick in the ROLS thread. You should check it, I have used Great White and ditched it in favor of fresh aloe. Much better root stimulator in imho.

nope, you cant even here the pumps and the fans are barley noticable, i can mask the sound with a computer, super stealthy...

@ Keif no problem man i always try to help out my fellow growers. they are growing fast but ill keep updating pics as they grow.

@Spanky i know, it took me a while to figure out how to upload, but i think i got the hang of it. this is actually the second version of my grow dressers. the first one only had two chambers, and had a home-made vented hood instead of a cooltube. this one is an upgrade lol

@ Maxxed Smoke? well its gonna be a while for this one, but the last one was killer...even though it was a bagseed. it came out frosty and piney.smoked the whole 39g harvest by myself if that tells you anything lol im trying to time it so that i can flower a sour diesel and my indica strain at the same time that way even if its a male they mix, and i get the seeds..it will probably be about 8 weeks before i clone the indica mom and the sour d. and then right after i harvest my one plant scrog ill throw the clones in there together to flower. im gonna say about 4 weeks tops left on the scrog veg depending on how quickly it fills up, and 8-10 weeks flowering time after that im lookin at about 3 months til harvest. and im hoping to get at least 39 grams i might fall a little short being that its only one plant instead of two but somewhere in that area is what im shooting for.

finally got around to covering up my container, i didnt have anymore foil tape but i found some black paint that worked well. it should keep my algae problem down, i cut a small slit in the label to check the water level.

I like the way you have attached the chicken wire to the top of the tote. Makes me want to modify my rack that I'm going to use in the fridge. I got to thinking about it last night when I was doing the nute change. Looking good, making it spread for the light. How close do you have it from the lights?
