Best Nutrient Line???

i grew tired of the BS marketing and inflated prices of nutes so i now use jacks pro hydro with calcium nitrate. cheap as hell n simple!
 
I like the lucas formula. I use flora nova bloom and it costs me about $0.25 (it's been a while since I did the math, but I think that's right) to refill a 5 gallon DWC bucket. It's easy, too, just 1 part, and I haven't had to adjust the pH as long as I keep the ppm around 1000-1200. I think it has a buffer. I used to use MaxiBloom (also lucas formula), but it's a dry mix and I could never get it completely dissolved. It was a little cheaper, though.
 
As expensive as the cyco range is, im very impressed with the results i get from it. The canna flores is pretty good too, keeps the pH in the right place.

I always have a bag of MaxiBloom around, have used it start to finish with nothing else to great results. Use it for my potted plants and soil vegetables as needed. If I ever get over my current addiction to trying Botanicare lines, I'm going to go back to GH.

If you have any issues with mixing any nutrients, should just get a cheap water pump and start pre-mixing up your nutrients in a liter container with it in warm/hot water.

Both with micros

J Arthur Bower's sulphate of potash - 0-0-40

I'm using phostrogen in flower now and adding a smidge of the 0-0-40 to shift the balance further to k.

I'm looking for a decent P additive, as I feel it's probably a little low in these ratios.

If I get less than say .7g/watt I'll consider getting spendy on some more 'professional' products. I may try a hempy bucket nect time too. All soil this run.

....I'm a long time hydro guy and like GH for its sure fire results and consistency...
then I tried Canna's Coco line and luv'd it
then I tried CNS17 and REALLY loving it....

next will be Dyna Gro and I'd bet my next paycheck it will work equally as well

See a trend? ..... about the only real variables here are price and simplicity...IME most shit works...all the arguing back and forth is idiocy at work

I bet if you tried soil you would never go back to hydro. See the trend? Once someone shows you the chemically taste of plastic tubing and plastic buckets etc. you begin to appreciate the clean taste of organic soil grown smoke and never consider having hydro again. See a trend?

Like a lot of people, I started in soil but wouldn't go back to soil for cannabis. I do grow vegetables and ornamentals in soil still - but only because they are outside. I'm working on a new aquaponics setup though so soon even some of my outdoor vegetables will be hydroponically grown.
