Incorrect, sorry neo.It takes stoners 10 times as long to change servers than non-stoners. FACT.
Was my first time installing drops and when I went up the ladder to run it through the drop ceiling there wasn't no easy way to get them into the server room. Was having to roll them up and toss them, they would get stuck on the hangers and electrical wires. Whoever ran all the stuff up there did a horrible job.36 drops in 23 days!? I would pull 1200 feet of fiber in two days, 4 runs@ 300 feet through walls, floors and multiple turns. There was only two of us. We could bang out cat 6 pulls in no time, punch that shit down at the tie panel and have everything looking pretty neat. I doubt I could do the software side to your ability though!
A good pair of glow in the dark "sticks" will work wonders. Greenlee makes a good pair. Drop ceilings suck, I had to run cables in a school in the Catskills. It sucked so bad. Luckily I always kept a headlamp, that helped. Was my first time installing drops and when I went up the ladder to run it through the drop ceiling there wasn't no easy way to get them into the server room. Got to use a fox and hound which was fun...
You sound like the guy that I was working with, he let me setup the security and switches for the network.
Yea, kinda glad I'm not going into that portion of networking. I'm on the security side, but if I ever needed to run anymore I know how, so there is that.A good pair of glow in the dark "sticks" will work wonders. Greenlee makes a good pair. The long runs I described above were in a Communications office with 15 inch cable racking 20 feet above the floor, running over the equipment. Raised floors are the best!
