Most municipal water supplies contain chlorine. So depending on where you live, and where the water from your tap is coming from, it may or may not be a good idea.
RO (Reverse Osmosis) water is pretty much the standard.

Looks like still a result of excess water. Should make it just not pretty. Keep it though as long as you do not see any pwm. There is still foods and sugars stored in there.

Your plant will recover and do well!

How about you get and read a book about growing.
Try this one by Ed.
http://www.amazon.com/Marijuana-Growers-Handbook-Complete-Cultivation/dp/0932551467

Now then, did you read it? GREAT!
Now you won't need people giving you the wrong answers to hold your hand!

I looked at your first pic and I GAUR-AN-FUCKIN-TEE you had NO problems with that plant until you followed some BS advice!
The wash was the start.
The bottom leaves in that first picture died off from NATURAL causes. (old, shaded, unneeded. The plant used the nutrition IN the leaves as they died off)
Let your tap water sit over night and it'll be fine to use. You don't NEED to use RO! Dude! CALM down! Stick your finger in the soil down to your first knuckle. Does it feel dry? Then water. Does it feel wet? Then don't water yet!

To SKI......yeah buddy, why don't YOU post a few pics of your 6ft tall plant under a 400w hps...With NO yellowing/die off of lower/no longer used by the plant leaves(because the light won't penetrate that far any more)...I would love to see that!

This thread is a PERFECT example of why many of us simply sit on the fence and be entertained by the wanna bee's jumping in with the answers to questions by overly worried "newbies". I gave you the real answer the first time, I stick to that! PERIOD! Your plant was FINE! the lower leaf die-off was natural!

Oh yeah,,,,,what Ski said is "powdery mildew" (pwm = powdery mildew).
Don't worry about that yet either, you don't have it!

Say Raw,,,,how about you give us a pic of the whole plant. That way we can get a broad overview of what might or might not be going on!

everything Dr. Who said is right. BUY A BOOK BRO! I read 2 books on growing 3 years ago. After a year of failed grows, the last 18 months: I avg. 3 1/2lbs per 2000w in a 5x10x7 tent with 6 plants.

You cant expect us to answer everylittle problem, u will have to nut up and learn to read a book. Now, I recommend Greg Green and Jorge! You don't have to read evry section. If your not growing outside you don't have to read it till you plant outside! They come with lots of pictures too. You wont learn every thing, but at least you will understand what we are saying.

Your plant needs Nitrogen, you only need to water once a week at this stage. I would say every 5 days. The biggest mistake o every grow, new or experienced is over watering, especially with soil. Sunshinemix and stuff like that require more water and nutes.

see because youknow so little because you haven't read anything, how far do we take our info! Show us u love ur plants, and google something

P.S.

Don't pour water on ur plant. Water droplets act like a magnifying glass. READ BOOK!!

I'm tired of hearing CAN'T. Thomas Jefferson said " A man who holds a cat by the tail learns something he can in no other way". I've read till my eyes bled. I've written manuals on streamlining production techniques for for engineers and businesses and yes you should read but.... Does that person live where you live? Do they have your genetics? How did they transition into producing medicine? Profit? Need? Love of someone you could not lose to disease? What were there hobbies before? Mine? Aquatics, husbandry of rare corals invertebrates and fish, specific band lighting techniques cloning of corals aka aquaculture, water chemistry. Thank you.

Just cause he hasn't yet, doesn't mean he won't, so don't be THAT guy. But I will admit that you did provide pics to stand by your claim. I have seen many plants that are perfectly green throughout their entire lives. You have to have an intimate relationship with the strain typically though, so you know exactly what kind of nutes it needs and when. Kudos for backing up your claim though Ski. +rep. I agree with Dr. in that most of the time, peoples problems are pretty much nothing, and that the steps they take to fix it, and often causing more issues then they're solving. But he is wrong that plants HAVE to yellow in flower. However it's not unusual at all, and if someone is seeing yellowing of lower leaves in flower, i'd tell them to continue normally and not to stress it. Most of the time (according to Uncle Ben himself) yellowing lower fan leaves are because there's an N deficiency, typically caused by bloom nutes being so low in N. But it's easy to get into an N abundance situation in bloom, which is why most times, it's better to just let newer growers NOT deal with the N def, and just ignore it rather then try to correct it, as it's easy to mess up.

Sorry. And thank you. I just get mad when I hear can't and won't. I like to believe that everything you set attention on should be achieve able. Sitting on the fence and stuff. What? Not here nope not never. I hide fences. Horizontal scrog all summer long. Lol!

Do not feed bloom chaos until you have used NFTG full line from the start. Bloom chaos is a wonderful and dangerous thing. If you use it with regular nutes every deficiency you can think of will show up within 24 hours. These are calcium based nutes. Bloom chaos pulls those calcium rich minerals up into your plant. If you haven't been using the line you don't have enough calcium to do that so whamo deficiency. NFTG is I believe the only calcium based not salt based nutrient line. I love it. Smells good too minty.
