Help!! Cant evaporate alcohol after winterizing

So I made my slab and wanted to make it cleaner so i can take those globs smoothly. I got some 96% grain alcohol and dissolved the slab into it at room temperature. Next i put the pyrex glass with a seran cover and let it sit for 36 hours. Lots of nasy white at the bottom. I took two coffee filters and filtered the solution into a flat round pyrex dish to remove all the residuals. I put the pyrex dish in my best value vac 5 gallon and turn on my robinair 5 cfm when i reach full vac there are some fast flash reactions and bubbles and then it just stops. No more purging or reaction. It is still completely liquid and in winterized state. Can anyone shed some light on this situation. I did this before and it reacted all the way until the alcohol was gone.

why didn't you put it in the freezer?

and i think people should chill a bit with the vac and also reactions under it

I wish I could actually help you though I do enjoy being an ass sometimes.
you didn't give any useable info.. just put up a pic

and I did say to stop with the heavy vac and watching for reaction, obviously it will. all the flavorful alcohols esters etc, have very low bp's

what does this mean in winterized state
time and temp would be cool to with a picture

straight up from freezer filtered into a round flat pyrex dish that fits in my degassing chamber. temp is set at 85 in the degassing chamber. just like you said there were some bubbles and flashes and then nothing. Just the same liquid i poured in to begin with. Not thicker or anything just full of alcohol still...

you doin something wrong..

ive violently boiled off ethanol with vacuum at 60F. did not like that approach due to mess.

i now prefer to use an 80F environment, with humidity below 30% and a fan blowing directly over a pyrex lake full of ethanol to evaporate off ethanol.. .. takes 3-48 hours to evaporate depending on size of batch.. stirring, and sloshing the liquid every now and then, helps speed up process

if going vacuum route, this is really helpful (im @ sea level btw)

I look at things differently than most. I've said a million times nothing is linear, when you lower the pressure it fucks the ratio just like using heat. I like greasy flavor filled hash, don't need a vac to wax or make shatter. it does make that bubble filled comb and with slight vac I can crystallize at cool temps if given time to come together pretty efficiently. yes there's a difference between scraping and ending with a powder and it forming that powder as it precipitates.
if I could run N or something through their I would do it, but I can't.. then the oxidation would outweigh my fears of oil loss

Dunno if your still interested im just trying to debug why your vac didn't boil or Bump that test ethanol you put in there. Are you heating your oven, and is your chamber/gauge passing the water boil calibration test?
If your vac was at -30hg and nothing was happening, id say your seconds away from the worst "bump" of your life. If you said it was just taking forever then i'd say it's evaporative cooling why it's not boiling, but at least I thought i read you get some then none reaction which sounds more like a low vac which then transitions into too cold to boil.

I'm speaking for putting pools of alcohol in the vac n pulling a vac right away n exploding the oil all over the chamber vs leaving that pool in the oven for an hour to get up to temp before pulling the vac. Your lack of bumping makes me think low vac + low temps but I feel like im missing some data im suppose to ask or have read but can't remember what it is.
