I've gotten peppery but never butane... Next time I open a jar I gotta keep that scent in mind, sometimes you cant figure a smell out until someone says it.. I get a cheesy smell off all of the voids ive grown for some reason.. It smells more cheesy to me than any of my cheese quake phenos, seriously... Obviously theres way more than cheese when I take a sniff, I smell a lot of the grape querkle, that peppery funky smell but I seem to find the cheese first and then grape second... but even though I smell the querks, it never tastes anything at all like the querkle I grew, nothing does... Maybe because im looking for it... But I did finally smarten up and stop messing around with the querkle x's and order a pack of querkle... I must have grown 35 strains in the past couple years and its the one strain the people I grow for; still ask for regularly and actually reminisce after they ask about it like an ex lover... I honestly do to, I cant say I even remember any other strain ive grown if its no longer in my clone tent. Cheese quake and I are gonna have a reunion in the very near future, I have it in the cloner now actually.. But I honestly sat there and looked at all the strains that hemp depot has in stock and I couldnt make up my mind, I need something different in the mix so I may as well end off a run of querkle and querkle crosses with some...... more.... querkle.... I'ma idiot...
I took these the other day... I like the last 2 the best... Those are XL's stretched over my gorilla hands but more importantly the shit stuck to the fingers of the glove, and then the last one is the bud laying in the palm of my hand... it was a big fuckin bud... definitely the biggest I've ever grown on a 6 main plant... these plants (this one grown in a 14gal runbbermaid and the monster qush plant grown in a 21 gallon rubbermaid) werent properly trained or cared for in veg, these were those that get thrown in the back and you keep topping and training...once in a while.... and its already too big and needs its own 4x4 space pretty much... these were big but far from my best work but if I took the main colas and primo-primo only I'd have over way a pound alone so I'm not complaining. I've finally got a couple strains that I want to start growing in 4 plant rotations to see what kind of results I can get over a few runs of each and see how well I can grow them while I grow some querk from seed. Get everyone sick as hell of all of my strains and then when they come over all pissy talkin bout yeah... I guess I'll take that shitty ass void or cheesequake bullshit.... its funny how quickly people become canna-sewers..... shit talking pot snobs who really know nothing about pot... Then I can break out my headie of querk...
although I do what I can with what I have now.
