Another facile argument. Why are you trying to oversimplify this? Is it the only way you can understand it?You can't undo what has already been done. We are NOT in control or it would be under control. Humans can learn to adapt to the changes, or die. It's all really simple.
We can't undo the effects that ignorance and science denial have given us, but we can stop the actions that are continuing to have a negative effect on our climate.
Why would anyone advocate NOT stopping the destruction of our environment just because in the past, we were ignorant about what was happening?
That's got to be one of the dumbest arguments I've ever had the displeasure of reading.
The fact that we're 'not in control' of something says nothing about our ability to control that something .... where do you get this shit from? If I let go of the steering wheel of my car, I am not in control of the steering of the car, that says NOTHING about my ability to take control.
