So I'm a little confused by THC percentage and potency/effect. I see strains that are 20% or higher and then I see something like Jack Herer with a thc level of 12- %-14%, yet JH is supposed to be the bomb.
From what I think I understand, this higher the THC content in indicas the more sedating it will be and the more couch lock/body high is achieved. With sativa, the THC content will generally be lower, but the higher THC content the more head high will be achieved.
Does this mean that the THC in indicas are different than in sativas or are there other chemicals in cannabis plants that have an affect?
I always thought terminology should be that sativa gets you high aend indica gets you stoned. If you have two plants in either category of equal thc, will the effect differ because of other substances in the plants? Is it possible for a strain with lower THC to be much stronger than a strain with higher THC?
