You are my new buddy then!! If you can remember next time you talk to him...tell him thank you for his work and he is why I got into growing in the first place. I was lost on where to start until I watched the videos and read the bible. Also that I thouroughly enjoy his advice column at the back of each High Times....in fact thats the only reason I buy HT anymore....oh yeah...and that i paid for all my stuf!

In the articles he writes for lots of different mags..but I really think his books are some of the best....he could have left all the ads out of the most recent one though...the 1995 edition was the best..

...what makes Jorge a fake, what has he done besides selling shit loads of books and writing tons of articles what does he do that makes him so fake?Ok..I'm pissed now. My outdorrs babes came down with a case of fungus /mold/mildew of some sort. In the problems section of the book where it talks about what sprays to use for downy/powdery mildew and stuff, he says use seranade. Cool I thought, so I bought some and applied to my plants...well they were so much worse the next day I knew it hadn't worked. So I did some more reading in the book to make sure I read it right. It did say to use seranade...BUT there is another section in that part of the book that talks about what certain chems do. ie bleach, baking soda, safer soap etc. Well I found the section that talked about bascilus subtilus(active ingredient in seranade) In it Jorge said to use seranade as a soil drench to protect against fulsarium wilt and some other stuff......NOT for mildews. Now I know that the bottle of seranade says its for mildew and such....I'm just pissed that there was conflicting info on such an important issue in his book.

just go buy the book. i have it and to be honest just got done looking up some information in it... the thing is probably the best investment one could make when it comes to growing. i paid 30.00 for it and would do it again any day

Ok, you want fact that he only knows how to write what he gets second hand, and then gets it wrong. Go watch the dumb shits video on how to make bubble hash, and if you know anything about making bubble hash you will see that almost everything he says is wrong. THERE IS YOUR PROOF. He is only a writter, not a grower. I suppose you think that Bush really went into IRAQ to save the people also. Oh yee of simple minds.

Here is just a few items he does wrong in his Bubble Hash Video, He beats the shit out of his MASH, he uses two beaters set on medium for 20 minutes. You should only use one beater and only on the lowest setting. And even then that is not the best way, useing a wood spoon and agitateing it by hand 5 minutes, then let it set 5 minutes, and repeat is the best way. You are not supposed to beat the Trichs off. It only takes a little agitation.
So you like JORGE, And I think he is a fake. This is what makes the world so great, everyone has their own opinion.
