Maybe if your canopy is really dense..otherwise I'm sure the UVB will make its way through the area

The only things I really worry about are what I can see and feel. I can see the differences with UVB...now it's time to see if I can see the differences with UVA .

And that's already getting more OCD than I like...I could just run both and guarantee myself a good run...whereas doing a test could leave me with a bunch of less sticky/smelly herb

To be honest, you should just run with both. You've done enough sacrifice for the community by not using 730nm pulses at lights out just to see if it would really delay flowering response.

Still debating..

Seperation of UVA and UVB is something I'm very curious about. Not to mention these 5w UVA leds are pricey..I should see what they bring without UVB involved. It be nice if that's all that were needed since the leds should output longer than floro tubes

I've been running one in a 4 x 2 . But will do two on the next run..so can't really say if it'd be too much. Think it would be ideal...either way the extra bulb would be good.

I'd do two and start at 4 - 6 hrs during flower.

Also depends on your lighting.. Strong lighting and you can keep the two elevated at the right distance..about 18-24".

If you have lower power lighting that needs to be right above the canopy then one bulb at an angle would be better..that's how I set mine up when I ran out of headroom. Aim across canopy and let it hit the other side of tent and diffuse

Het pos,

I see this is a dusty old thread..Ive been reading through the uv threads and pondering adding a tube to my setup.

I was wondering if you still feel like the tube you mention in that post is a useful addition?

Thanks man
