that's the prob, its a scam! we vote out 1 looser and bring in another, they all talk soooo much bs.
to me voting for another fucktard will not change or help anyone. one evil for another!
mandatory voting for over 18! gov does not make our rules and we do not base what happens in Canada by religion, greed or what the fucking gov wants!!!
we need a power to work for the people for free, currency needs to be ebolished and make a trading system again. everything bad is gone and only good things made for us to survive!!!
$ fast food, prescriptions and anything else that is greed based can fuck off.
doctors want to help people then they need to work for cheap or free,
only reason jt is even running is his name, he has nothing else to help him.
remember the world don't want mj not just harper. its the 1 world power running things. not harper
look at the legalisation in usa, they boomed open and now are being shut down. cali went mmj, then they have gotten rid of this. Washington state has allowed mmj, then legal and now all patients pay t prices and talk about huge rule changes
I get where you're coming from, I do. Shit is fucked, at a truly fundamental level. But the only thing that can be done at this point, is whatever you can do to bring a CHANGE.
How do you think you can change things?

I won't accept, for myself at least, that I can do nothing. If everyone thought like that, nothing would EVER get done!

Ok, I get that. But what do you think there is to be done?

Hide out in a bunker, and wait for the world to end?

That's not good enough for me.

But if you can live happily like that - please do so!

Does anyone know if he is or can run again? Please say no..please
Damn, I just choked on my fat, juicy, red meat steak - lol
I had never really looked at this, assumed there was a limitation like the US president (I think they can only be pres for 2 back-to-back 4-year terms). Well if this is right, Harper could actually rule again! Now there's a depressing thought :(

About the only glimmer of hope is that he would have to run and be voted in again...

Straight Quote from Wikipedia:
"Term of office[edit]
The Canadian prime minister serves at Her Majesty's pleasure, meaning the post does not have a fixed term. Once appointed and sworn in by the governor general, the prime minister remains in office until he or she resigns, is dismissed, or dies.[11] The lifespan of parliament is limited by the constitution to five years and, though the governor general may still, on the advice of the prime minister, dissolve parliament and issue the writs of election prior to the date mandated by the Canada Elections Act; the King-Byng Affair was the only time sinceConfederation that the viceroy deemed it necessary to refuse his prime minister's request for a general vote.

Following parliamentary dissolution, the prime minister must run in the resulting general election if he or she wishes to maintain a seat in the House of Commons. Should the prime minister's party subsequently win a majority of seats in the House of Commons, it is unnecessary to re-appoint the prime minister or again swear him or her into office.[11] If, however, an opposition party wins a majority of seats, the prime minister may resign or be dismissed by the governor general. Should the prime minister's party achieve a minority while an opposition party wins a plurality (i.e., more seats than any other party but less than a majority), the prime minister can attempt to maintain the confidence of the House by forming acoalition with other minority parties. This option was last entertained in 1925."
