Hi again sorry to be a pain but I just wanted to be absolutely sure this will be the best time to cut these down ( or at least the one in the foreground of the pictures)

No water for 4 days medium is dry, haven't had nutes (weak dose) for about 8 days, roughly.

Getting as close as I can with this 10x I can see that the trichs are cloudy, which is a good sign, but none of them are amber as far as I can see.

Too late, I've cut them down and they look lovely and ripe cloudy trichs majority orange hairs.

How are yours coming along by the way? Are you growing outdoors?

Yours could be chopped, but Id go anoter week. If you decide to chop now I guarantee you will be happy with the finished product.

It really depends on what active ingredients you want. If you want more THC to break down into CBN harvest later and some trichomes will turn amber, it's not as strong as THC but it has a sleepy effect.

Fangule those plants look really nice, I think you should wait a week though to see if you get more swelling, however if you want to chop now as bud farmer suggests you wont be disappointed. I like the look of growing outdoors but I just don't have the room or the climate!

Hard to judge but once it's dry ill report back with my weights.

If your plant has that many white hairs don't even bother looking at trichomes.

Bro nice size cola my biggest cola was 78.78 from this one. 330 gr total

Ah yes the massive cola, I didn't lst last grow and one of by colas was 100g wet, getting a bud the size of my forearm was pretty awesome. You may want to chop it up into smaller buds like I did, dries faster and lowers risk of mould that way.

I just harvested and went crazy with lst this time, small buds but gazillions of em... I've been manicuring and setting up new grow for like 4 days!

Yeah the big bud has since been dried in smaller pieces and they are all in jars curing nicely ( saying that they need there daily burp)

Next time I'm topping to even out the light spread and hopefully end up with multiple large colas. I've already got an auto flower kush about 3 weeks in and just planted 2 original AK which have sprouted! Plus I've ordered a new 400w mars 2 LED light that should be here so, so it's all go for me!

Liking the results Fangule looks like some nice fresh nuggets get em hanging and cure that!

All weighed in at 89g dry probably smoked a Q on top of that I'd say.

Yeah I cbf with harvest photos as no one goes on my journal but I'll put some dried photos up later.

I've finally done the manicuring lol but I got to dry these things at 70% humidity now :s

wow, i gottta get soome heavy yeilders, i been growing with bagseed and thats about twice as big as my average.

What temps do you like to dry @ NLG?

When I dried they were hung up at 23c and 50-55% humidity, with a fan blowing air in there direction, dried to a perfect cure state within 3 days.

70% does seem high, but the slower the better when drying from what I have gathered reading forums. BTW I have been following your journal NLG!

I usually buy pick n mix seeds from just feminized, they have a weekly sale where they put a strain on for half price so £2.66 a seed for original AK which is a bargain. I'm not sure where they ship too, it's based in the UK so I guess everywhere.
