I don't know how up to date NORML is on their State Laws but according to their site MJ is decriminalized there. Not sure how to interpret it all but I get the impression it would be a misdemeanor.... read their page on NY New York - NORML

and GET A LAWYER!!!!

decriminalization does not apply to manufacturing, as far as I know.

decriminalization does not apply to manufacturing, as far as I know.

From the NY Page on NORML:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Delivery or manufacture of two grams or less of marijuana for no remuneration is punishable by up to three months in jail and a fine up to $500. For delivery or manufacture of 25 grams or less, the penalty is up to one year in jail and a fine up to $1,000. For amounts greater than 25 grams, the penalty increases to one to one and a half years in jail and a fine up to $5,000. Delivery or manufacture of greater than four ounces is punishable by one to two and a half years in prison and a fine up to $5,000. For any amount greater than 16 ounces, the penalty increases to one to five and a half years in prison and a fine up to $5,000.

So I guess the question becomes... what's the amount considered cultivation for personal use vs. manufacture for distribution.

Like I said...GET A LAWYER!!!

you wont admit guilt cuz your a scarred little bitch haha

You must be a LEO because only a LEO would suggest that one should just bend over and admit guilt without getting a lawyer and having their fair day in court.

Shame on you! MJ prohibition is ridiculous!

remaining silent is not bullshitting... it is REMAINING SILENT... which we have right to.... saying nothing admits nor denys nothing.... a lawyer is some one who can speak for you... and trust me law is another language and you need someone to speak for you, the whole way through the process.... jmo good luck

hard evidence against him? Kushking your a dink hole! If someone told the cops on him thats not hard evidence. Hard evidence is a picture of him watering his plants. I can picture kushking walking into a cop station and turning himself in for growing some plants just because he wanted to prove he's not a scared little bitch. hahaha

you don't know that they have any evidence on you, so fuck that shit. "admit and take it like a man" fuck that shit. I don't see why growing a kick ass plant like weed is illegal so why bend over for them and go to jail for growing a god damn plant. If you admit it, then you have a 100% chance of being prosecuted, I'll take anything under 100% thank you.
Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

It's not about bullshitting a way out of it..... it's about exercising your RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT and getting a lawyer to represent you in court. A good lawyer will make sure the DEA followed the letter of the law in their investigation and arrest. A lawyer is your advocate to make sure you don't get railroaded.

Every person is entitled to representation and due process, the 5th Amendment says so.

I wouldn't say shit. I know of people who plant on other peoples property....So its not impossible that someone else put them on your plot.
