prostitution, should it be legal?

Cops should have higher priority tasks than trying to eliminate the oldest profession in the world. They might as well be trying to kill all the ants in the world. Impossible.

As long as both (or all) parties are agreeable to services rendered and price, it's none of anyone's business but theirs. IMHO.

How do you respond to the detractors view that it has psychological consequences for the working girl?

These people say such consequences exist despite higher fees and better working conditions in a legal regulated brothel.

There are "psychological consequences" associated with all kinds of professions. Soldiers, cops, even doctors come to mind. That's no reason to ban those professions.

That's true.

I suppose there are no valid arguments against prostitution outside of legislating morality and controlling people's sexual activities under the guise of appeasing God. Fucking Christianists.

You give me money, I vote for your legislation. Seems like a fair exchange to me.
If you are harshing on politicians I concur.

However we shouldn't insult whores by comparing them to politicians. Whores generally do not impose rules on others and most people interact with them on a consensual basis. A politician is more like a low down pimp living off the labor of others.

Just don't use the bathroom at Wendy's if Uncle Buck has been in the neighborhood.
How do you feel on Rand Paul now saying that private business owners do not have the right to discriminate based on race...and how he fully supports the Civil Rights Act. He now says he has zero problems with any of the titles. Is this good news Rob Roy Miller ??

Rand Paul is doing the political posturing thing.

If private property owners don't determine the use of something....how can they own it?

How about if they blow me because they pitty me. And then borrow a couple bucks interest free that I may never ask for.
Verbal contract of course.
