Hey everyone..

This section is way too fucking dead!

All I see are the "hip" auto strains being grown, and I want to some some custom autos! Show me some auto's that you bred yourself and the result of their offspring! Check out my progress in my thread in my sig in my own foray into the world of Auto breeding.

POST pics of your own custom AUTO and how dank it was vs the mother and father!!

I'm about to make my own autos but I'm not there yet so I can't show pics.

I'm gonna be crossing sweet seeds red poison with auto seeds pineapple punch, th seeds auto bubblegum, paradise seeds automaria 2, and of corse some red poison X red poison and red poison S-1. Then I will make crossings with all the resulting "new" autos.

This is my first attempt at seed making. It should be fun. Wish me luck.

A few years ago I got a male Dinafem Roadrunner and crossed it with what I was growing at the time which was a Sweet seeds Fast Bud and got a good amount of seeds from it. This year I'll be moving so I didn't want to use any of my other seeds in case I had to pull them so I germed one and it's looking decent on my deck. Will post pics when it puts on some more weight.

Hell yeah nice man. Customizing is what I love about herb and that was some nice auto breeding there mate. I don't know why everyone doesn't make their own flavor. To me it's like Pokemon you gotta have the best and breed em all lol.

what about stability (being able to produce the same again without worrying about sorting through 100 plants to find it.) doesnt that matter at all? maybe in photos where you can just clone all day pop 100 beans find a winner and run a clone crop but what about all the auto growers without acces to micro propogation or space (and laws) that desbt allow them more than 6 plants at once?

Honestly at this point stability is out the window on many strains. The last six photos I grew all had significantly different phenotypes. The only uniform plants I have grown were 60 day lemon so far, an auto.

I also hate cloning. It's very hot and humid where I am and more often than not out of 20 clones 3 will make it.. wasting tons of time. I would rather seed it, grow it and move on.

If I am looking for pure stability I will go with a tried and true mother. With autos I am just looking at perpetual harvest, and tinkering.

so why not make that a goal? i always hear ppl crying about a lack of stability in seed lines and still no one is doing anything about it, im working towards complete stabalization of my lines so that when i tell a grower the beans he gets are going to produce a 24 inch tallplant at 70 days with purple buds and excellent trichome coverage he damn sure better get it or my name is dirt wouldnt you agree? wouldnt you like to reliably reproduce autos with the similar characteristics you like?
i get you cloning can be a bitch, have you tried an aerocloner? almo
 
st 100% success rates with the ol girl (no hardening off either)
what are you looking for exactly? with regards to your "tinkering" potency? a particular flavor? or just any novel trait that decides to pop up? always curiousabout others processes
 
Well for me I live I a non med state. Meaning anything I do is a risk. Selectively breeding isn't a huge possibility right now so what I do is pick the best looking and breed her.

I would love to be able to make my own fully stable non F1 s however I don't have time nor resources nor space :(

For me it's all about perpetual growing making seeds is just a means to an end.

well i applaud what your doing my man and ill be keeping an eye on your cross to see how yummy sgebturns out, are you entering the solo cup contest?
 
Yes. Going to enter solo cup with either a Bioshock or auto sour diesel. I have a tester in a solo cup now of bioshock to see how it goes.

the 60 day you said was pretty stable? did you make pure 60 seed?
and can you give me a rundown of the moscowberries bud qualities/smoke report curious to see what the f1s will look like in flower
 
Yes 60 day was stable. No pure 60 day made tho just mixes. Moscowberry growing now will Def let you know ;)

I am against nutes. I grow using water only :) FFOF soil

First try outdoors. Went pretty fast 68 days from germ. Only 4 days longer than under hps :)
