HOW DO I REDUCE STRETCH IN DARK PERIOD

Keep your temps close together. If your flowering day temp is 80, keep your night temps 75-80. The easiest way to achieve this is to run your lights at night so that your plants night temps are higher. Or add a space heater on a thermostat, can buy one of these cheap at like home despot.

bigger temp differential = more stretch.

I have a mini split with a thermometer so during the stretch the room is the same night and day. Running a dehu helps... which you should be doing anyways.

Temps you say...? hmmm....I thought I was preventing stretch by leaving my girls under cfl's 1st week of flower, then going 12/12 2nd week under hps. I get the main stem stretch a wee bit

you don't even have the answer
You're* and you sound like a tard

Anywho...I believe the answer is in my post...all the N given at the beginning of flower causes the stretch right?.I keep mine under the cfl's during this time of stretch staying in the veg cycle. Then switch to hps and 12/12 wk 2 of flwr, then I'll get a little stretch on the main stem, but thats about it

oops wrong quote...not directed at you mainliner

Lmao.

I don't have the answer huh? Ok bud. Your right. I don't know anything about growing, I mean your killing it...one plant with CFL. I only have a total of 42,000 watts of flower room right now.

It's not nitrogen levels. MJ needs loads of N that first two weeks.. I use veg nutes till end of week 2. It's temperature. Day time highs and night time lows that is the key to limiting stretch.

If you really want to be serious about it you can hit then with paclobuytrozol or daminozide.

Your are however a great example of why I hardly ever post on newb threads. The newbs never fucking listen. Ever.

Now run along and rock your closet grow. I have elbows to pack

Ppl that claim to know everything ..dont! Ppl that do know are honest enough with themselves to know that their are constantly new things to learn. Its pricks like this that give growers a bad rap. We are ALL in this together. Its a shame this dude is from Colorado too...majority of the growers in CO. are very nice, willing to share info etc. I wouldnt ever take advice from this asshole. I think its funny tho....he says he has the answer, but repeats what everyone else is saying.
Hows the head this morning mainliner? lol
