Flushing schedule

I do believe in flushing but can anyone on here give me insight to what their flushing schedule looks like?

Im growing in coco, my ppms in veg are 6-700 with RO water. What Im wondering is do I need to flush before I go into flower? I did this time and the plants looked pale going into flower. I use House and Garden drip clean in all my nutes, that helps salt not build up. 3-5 weeks of veg normally. Going for 5 next time.

What Im thinking is trying a run where I only do 1 final flush with clearex at the end.

But before Id flush going into flower, 1 month in then a final flush. Total of 3. Is that neccesary?

I don't really flush. the last week is when I stop nutes and go water only. water until run off, vacuum out. repeat in 2 days, ect.

No need to use any flushing products, especially when your using Drip Clean. I simply stop using anything with an N-P-K value the last 10 days and run drip clean at the same dosage.

Drip Clean NPK is 0-18-8 from the top of my head.

In drippers, sprayers, tubing etc...

No.

I flush every time i go to the bathroom...

Yep, that's how I flush too.

I don't know how many plants your growing but if it's more than one don't flush one or two and see if there is an actual diff in taste. Only diff I noticed with my test using sister clones is the flushed ones had less bud mass and no change in taste. Flushing is for toilets.

As far as flushing excess salts from the coco DURING the grow:
Don't worry about an overlap between grow and bloom nutes.
Check your run-off. It will tell you if you need to flush. And by periodically checking the run-off you can really dial in how high of EC(which I never met a strain needing more than 1.6 in coco)you should be feeding at, and/or if your watering with enough nutrient solution everytime(i look for at LEAST 20% runoff)
Don't worry so much about ph of the run-off in coco,. That can drive you nuts.

I do flush but only with clean air temperate water, on average 1x time per month, or at the first sign of nute burn, keeps me happy every time, but I do hate doing it! ...lol
if using artificial salts/nutes stay sharp, and flush a lot

As far as flushing at the end(a final flush if you will), with hopes of a better product:

I personally start flushing rite when I start to poop. I learned that in jail. It helps with the sound AND smell. Shit, I flush like 10 times sometimes :-D

I've been growing coco for almost 5 years.

I've flushed before for 2 weeks. Plants were not happy at all.

Ive done flushes pre harvest. Periodically during the final week etc.

Now my prefered favourite is to dial down the nutes from about week 6 onwards. (8-9week strains.)

During my hydro days I noticed that a plants requirement for nutes towards the end of flowering lessens. This was seen in increasing res EC.

I agree with Aeroknow that I haven't found any plants yet that take higher than EC1.6. DINAFEM critical+ came close to it at 1.8 but burn developed so I backed off.

On my last week before harvest my plants are generally recieving EC 0.8 of my base nutes.

Oh boy... and you work in a hydro shop? Lay down the pipe for a sec and use your head Mick... 0.18% and 0.6%....

Mine's less than 2 years old, but is irrelevant. Mine is bought about 70 miles from where it's made, yours is the exported version which clearly has a misprinted fucked up label, 0-0.18-0.6 is rounded 0-0.2-0.6 which is very different from the actual guaranteed analysis...(0-18-6).

Weird man... not you, well, that too, but that's just weird, man. Obviously they don't change their product from 18% p2o5 to 0.18%...

Well yours was strange looking too with the comma between the 18 and the 0(18,0%). I think H&G are the ones that need to lay down the pipe lol

Either way they say it's not a PK booster on their website because of the very low dose. My plants never have any P or K issues so whatever. The product works and thats all that matters at the end of the day.

i grow in soil when i flush the last week i set up a pump with a 30ltr rez i pump 3 ltrs into the plant of fresh water every day for 7 days run to wast when we did coco we would do the same depends on pot size but 3 times a day for 5 mins hope that helps

You'd be surprised how normal that is on this planet. 1,000,000.00 is 1.000.000,00 :)

The product works indeed. They say it's not a PK booster because they want you to buy a PK booster though. I use it combined with pH Up as a PK booster. Anyway, I was merely pointing it out because you said:

I simply stop using anything with an N-P-K value ... and run drip clean.
