It has happened to me, they got the wrong address it seems, actually wanted the house next door for a debt owed, they didnt even get halfway thru the door before 2 of em had been stabbed, within 30seconds they were gone n were picked up by the police/ambulance less than a mile down the road, no gun needed, just a large knife and a CCTV camera covering my front door

Also as well i will say ive done over 15years as a doorman/bouncer whatever you lot call em, had guns pulled on me many times and not once have i ever need a gun to deal with it, have also been gassed in the face, run over, hit with a car,glassed,bottled etc etc etc, an not in any of the incidents would a gun have been of any use without wounding 25 other ppl in the area

25 people. ..I'm talking about a semiautomatic handgun not an Ak 47....I see we are not going to come to an understanding. ..it's OK I see your point guns are dangerous. ..but so are knives u guys should get rid of those next...

Actually, in that situation, i would consider the safest course of action to be have the family sit down crossed legged with their hands on their heads whilst doing your best to fetch everything you are asked for without making eye contact. If they beat/rape/kill you then, they weren't really there for the loot anyway. Just carnage. I don't know if i would shoot invaders (if i had a gun to hand) if i thought they might just fuck off with my stuff and a tray of nice sandwiches for the journey home.
Still, not likely to happen where i live. If it was, i'd have several fucking huge dogs.
