yellowing of all new growth, zinc def?

I was given a plant about a month ago (I was told it was almost a month old prior to that) so at a best guess I'd say 2 months at this point.
A little history of what's been going on. I've had it under a 250w hps on 18/6, 8-10" above the highest node, air cooled hood being exhausted outside with a 4" inline w/ carbon filter. Temps are between 76-84f (84f being on a really hot day but usually it's expected to be right at 80f) It's in a 3 gallon pot with pro mix and a little bit of espoma plant tone I had laying around. Other than that I water every 3-4 days or whenever the pot feels light (feed, water, water, feed). I mix 15ml of PBP gro per gallon of tap water and usually never PH (I do test and it's around 6.5-7.0 so I leave well enough alone).
Around 1 or 2 weeks ago it's started to have very pale growth at the tips with skinny leaves and I'm not sure if this is normal or not. (past grows never done this, granted I only have 4 grows under my belt) Growth rate seems to have slowed down a bit, just not all together. Countless hours of looking it up I always go back to it being a zinc deficiency but wanted to check here first. I've mixed up espoma salt to see if that would help, but no go on that. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry about the bad quality pics, I can't find the charger to my cam.

The PBP grow is 3-2-4, I've used it in the past and it worked great so wanted to stick with it. Seeing as how I have plant tone already mixed in with my soil, would upping the nutrients cause any negative effects?

Just wait till your next feed. When you go to feed again just up the dose. You gotta remember too some strains and some diff pheno's like more or less nutes. When you up the feeding you will see all new growth returning back to that nice green your looking for. Thats how I tell when my ladies want more food the new growth start looking like a faded lighter green compared to old growth.

Thanks for the info man, I'm going to give that a try next feeding. Any thoughts on those spots on my leaves though? Or am I just trying to baby my plant to death over thinking things? Seems like a pretty common mistake new growers make, trying to fix things that may not even need a fixing.

Image 4 to me again my opinion looks like Splash Burn. Looks like you splashed some of your feeding solution on the blade.

Right on, I always thought I was careful of that when watering but it does make sense. Long as it doesn't seem to get worse and spread I'll chalk it up to being from splashing nutrients on it by mistake. Here's hoping she darkens up and thrives! I do have some clones off her though in case things go south.

No You don't have a major issue. They look healthy don't stress it.

Pro mix with a little espoma plant tone mixed in. I had some laying around and used the smallest amount in the bottom of the pot but other than that I've fed it 15ml of pbp gro, first feeding was only 6ml and I upped it as I went. So far I haven't had any nute burns (from what I can tell, usually the tips burn but none of that happening with this plant) I haven't had a chance to give them an upped dose of nutes yet, waiting for the soil to dry a little more so i don't risk overwatering.

I should also note that whenever I mixed up some plant tone with my pro mix I watered it until slightly moist and let it sit for nearly a month until I needed some soil. By a small amount I really do mean so little I would never thought any type of burn could happen (3-4 tbsp mixed with 10 or so gallons of soil).

if i had to guess..I would said slight nute burn..and the old more mature leaves could handle it as the new growth could not..hence the light yellowin and squeezing of leaves.if it was MY plant..a good flush and nothing but water for the next week..IMO. then look at the new growth again and make your decision as to "up" the nutes or not

I planned to flower it within a week but that probably wouldn't be the best move right now would it? Don't want to have a problem and go into flowering with it. Can't really figure out the best move, if I wait too long it'll be too big for my little 250w. I may veg it out and wait, could always throw a screen over it and do some scrogging during the stretch.

scrog it or low stress train it (LST) mechanics wire and such...i would wait n see what new growth say before I flowered it...youve stressed it enough!!

And here I thought I was being all gentle and such with the feedings. Lights just came on so I went to check on my other plants as well that's a month old, both are showing the same signs as my big girl. I've only fed them once around 2 and half weeks (small dose of pbp gro) and they responded well to that and now getting yellowish new growth. Might also be worth noting that the stems on my leaves are turning purple on me, I thought it was just a genetic thing but all are like that? Still very new to the growing so this has got me puzzled.

Ive never really worried about the purpling of stems..what I do worry bout is the leaves and overall color of them and the new growth will tell me what I have just done in the past few days!!
