Can Conservatives and Liberals Come Together Against North Korea?

I am far from worried about N. Korea.
I am skeptical of any country that goes through all the hard work of developing nukes to fire them off as soon as they can. They would be guaranteeing their own destruction. Why does America get to choose which countries have which weapons? When we get rid of ALL of our nukes, then we can start demanding others to get rid of theirs or abandon the attempt to get them.

So we can't agree that North Korea is an enemy of the US that needs to be dealt with preemptively?
It's hard to believe how easy it is to rile up conservatives to go to war, preemptively at that...

North Korea is not a threat to the US or our interests, neither is ISIS, neither was Iraq, neither was Afghanistan, Vietnam or Korea..

The US hasn't been rightly threatened since WW2, and even then it's a stretch as the battles took place in the European and Pacific theaters, nowhere near the continental US

Waging preemptive war is the reason we are hated by so many other countries and their people

Fuck other countries and their people. If it wasn't for the US, Nazi Germany would now be ruling the world.

North Korea has nuclear capabilities. They are currently working on a way to deliver them across the world. AND AND AND they have, several times, threatened a first-strike against America.

If you (or Buck or my mother) don't take that seriously, then fuck all of you. You're stupid.

Yes mother, you too.

Fuck that. America gets to choose who has nukes because:

1. We can.
2. We should.

We're not talking about making sure every kid at the party gets their fair share of ice cream, idiot. We're talking about a bomb that could kill a million people in a second. And start a world war to end all wars (and all life on this dust ball).

Damn, the liberals on this web site are fucking stupid.

I'm about as scared of North Korea as I am of Canada...

NK does not have nuclear capabilities, you're wrong.

My suggestion to you is to stop buying into American media. Realize their sole purpose is to scare people because fear equates to panic, and panic equates to stupid decisions, like war, and wars make corporations big money. The media you're watching that is telling you NK is a threat is a corporation that makes money off your panic.

Buying into it is exactly what they want you to do.

Yes, there's a communist behind every tree, right?

You sound like Neville Chamberlain. "Peace with dignity" he called it. Winston Chuchill called it "total surrender". And he was right.

North Korea is not the same as Nazi Germany. Nazi Germany was an imminent threat to global peace and prosperity, North Korea is one dinky little nation that can't afford to feed it's population. Pull your head out of Fox News' ass.

Can US conservatives and liberals agree that North Korea needs to be dismantled before they can deliver on their threats of nuclear war against the US?
Korea knows that nuclear armed States do not become US battlefields. When was the last time the USA attacked a nuclear capable nation?

The one and only reason you're afraid of North Korea is because the American media machine tells you to be
Crazy, pint sized dictators are always worth keeping an eye on.

I'm completely against a pre-emptive just in case action though. South Korea is the most threatened, not the US.

NK has nothing we want, we won't be going there.

north korea's nuclear program is strictly a fundraising program. Ignore them and they'll go away. If they or anyone else wanted to use them we would nuke them out of existence.let's cross that bridge when we get to it.
