these people are also poor for the most part . that poverty keeps them from doing things we take for granted , not to mention the lack of edu.
religion sets itself as a place to be saved and thats what poor people want, to be saved from the hell they are in . they dont realize they are pawns in a ancient ponzi scheme with each ponzi in competition with the other.

i could be way off base but i think it plays a roll .
Why you talking shit about Buddhism? All we do is meditate and get high.

I can't lump Buddhism in with other religions, it's more philosophy than religion to me. Just semantics though, it can be considered religion as well as those who worship government.

Buddhism to me is more like the Golden Rule on steroids which I don't see as religious either.

Just an opinion though, it's like saying spiritual isn't necessarily religious.

Good to see you back btw, it reminds me I need to be more diligent with meditation.

Just meditate while partaking in the herb. Makes it a more enjoyable experience. If I didn't, that time I had some Pineapple Express, it would've been hell. You just let it flow and thoughts aren't a bother.

Nolan Ryan could throw it 102 mph. He didn't throw every fastball at 102 though. You vary your speeds to throw the hitter off.

The batter starts getting close to hitting the 95mph fastball, he would crank it up higher and throw the batters timing off.

Then you throw in the curve and really fuck with his timing. Lol

I got to see him pitch up close, he could still bring it well into his 40s. Nolan Ryan...Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Despite the fact I lived in Houston when he played for the Astros, and was in Dallas when he was with the Rangers, I never got to see him pitch in person. Just on TV.

My fav memory of Nolan was his old ass laying the smack down on one Robin Ventura.

Jed Clampett, my Father, and I practice the Golden rule.We refer to ourselves as Golden Rulers and consider it a religion, just not an organized religion.
