I checked again today. I can fly round trip from here in Midwest to Sacramento for $418. I would arrive on Friday just after noon local time, then depart just after noon on Sunday. I'll just have to figure out travel to campsite, as I'm not sure I want to get into the car rental thing. I might just shell out some dough and talk a cabby into driving me to the campsite. I'm seriously considering this. Call me 50% in.

Someone should offer to pick you up and I will offer to take you to airport on Sunday. I will be bringing Bubba Kush so that might get you to 75% to the BBQ.

I really dig nice people like you Sam. Where I come from we are taught to give folks the shirt off your back if it would help them. That's a really cool offer and the Bubba definitely ups the ante!

Why thank you, Smidge.... I tend to gravitate to nice people like yourself, people who build us up to our potential and aren't selfish about sharing knowledge and kindness.
I wake up and every morning I choose to be happy and as kind as I can be to my fellow humans. Of course now and then there is a clunker .. and once in a while I go off the rails and have to level someone. ;-)

You sound a lot like me S'manta :) Everyday really is a choice. You can choose to be happy or choose to be unhappy. Like Ruby, I wasn't always like this. I always enjoyed the beating of an ass...now I like to take the nice road and only beat the ass when necessary ;)

Amazing how I can write a comment like that and then less than 8 hrs later life turns around and gives me a left hook without me knowing its coming.
