I find that surprising. We've always had siamese up until this time, and they've always been anti-social stuck up bitches. Burmese on the other hand, now that's a people cat!

It would be cool of cats could go thirds. They can get pregnant from two different males at the same time itd be cool if the genes would mutt out.

That's maybe why. He's half Burmese. I always thought Siamese cats were a bit funny, like highly strung and aloof. My vet said it was typical of the breed and she really likes him.

Maybe because I took him off the street. He luuuurves me. We met when he was about 6 mths. I've rescued other cats and they have all been nice lap cats to a certain extent. This one is like a baby though. I should make some videos to show you what he does to me? Have you trained yours to sit yet? Kuroi was a great cat trainer! :)

According to kmog, siamese are lap cats, i;ve never witnessed it though. But as i say, burmese are just amazing, don't ever take oneo to a cattery though, it'll break your heart. They ned their peeps too much. Burmese are a cross of siamese are they not? And does the siamese pedigree have any bearing on it's attitude? Can't recall if it's burmese or siamese but there is an american and a british variant.

That's awful. Both of them or one? Were they friendly with strangers?

My cat has no desire to go outside again. Probably because he spent his first 6 mths on the street. The terrace is enough for him thank god. I'm on the top floor but he's scared of heights which is fantastic.

When we got our German Shep we already had a black tom cat. Very macho and cat like. Not much of a pet for 2 little girls! Anyway he was off once the dog arrived but I saw him years later living wild near the woods!!

Tonkinese is a cross between Burmese and Siamese. I learnt that off this very thread after posting a picture. To me though, he's just my street cat and I love him to bits.

Hope she turns up soon. Fingers crossed. It's possible.

Nothing so sinister. I have jumped and skipped over to this wonderful place that is London for a few years of education. Kitties stayed behind.
