That would basically halt resin production altogether.Yes - shorten your light period to 6hrs and keep the dark period at 12hrs
No resin no amber! thats whyWhy do we need resin production? He wants to turn amber, quicker; hence the quicker cycle.
No, but it might help kill the plant. Frost is bad unless its a nice coating of trichomes...Would colder weather and lite frosty mornings help?
Why did he ask his question then?No resin no amber! thats why
because he cant wait to smoke smoke smoke. at least i think so, he didn't say. unless he wants it to look better than it is so he can rip a med. patient off in witch case i wouldnt help. even if there was a way to do it.Why did he ask his question then?
yes does it come in a can too lolI've personally had great success with the following product and highly recommend it:
THC breaks down in UV light, so even if you are making them amber faster, you are just being counterproductive to trying to grow something to get high...I've read more than one comment that the use of UVB lights should be stopped after mid flower because it can cause trics to amber too quickly. Maybe that's the way to go. And, they're believed to increase resin production, unlike reducing the light period. A double win.
i use a uv light for my clones, but if i leave it on them to long the leaves start to turn color.I've read more than one comment that the use of UVB lights should be stopped after mid flower because it can cause trics to amber too quickly. I thought that's what happens when trics turn amber, and why some people prefer to harvest sooner for higher THC content and more of a head high. If that's true, running UVB in late flower sounds like it would have that effect.THC breaks down in UV light,
piss on themIs there ways to ripen trichomes to amber besides time?
If he is trying to get them amber, they aren't late in flower. Otherwise he would wait the week.I thought that's what happens when trics turn amber, and why some people prefer to harvest sooner for higher THC content and more of a head high. Whether it's desireable or not is another question. But, if he wants amber trics faster (and what that does to THC), it sounds like UVB late in flower would do that.
