OG Kush (Ghost Cut) Dr Greenthumb

I started these a few weeks back and never got around to starting the journal until now.
Anyway, I have a couple of Doc's Og Kush Ghost cut going and 1 of his Bubba Kush Katsu as well.

At first I started 1 OG and 1 Bubba.....




And three weeks later...

OG Kush at 3 weeks from seed...



And I transplanted it into a standard 5 gallon yesterday...



Bubba Kush at 3 weeks from seed......



The Bubba will be transplanted tomorrow into a 2 gallon and then after 2 weeks into a 5 gallon lowes bucket.

About a week and a half ago i decided to pop a 2nd OG Kush bean....

I'm not sure how much I will focus on the Bubba since I've already journaled them but i will probably show a picture or two from time to time. This will primarily be a OG Kush journal but i will be running a couple other things at the same time.

Oh.... So soiless. I should have known as I'm using Promix too (HP). Haha, my fault. I thought you were using regular soil and cut it with perlite. Since you're on Promix, are you experiencing longer wet time this time of the year? I normally run Promix during summer and it dries out pretty evenly and uniformly, usually 2 days. This is my first run with Promix during fall/winter time and I noticed it's holding moisture a lot longer than normal, 5-6 days to dry. My environment is almost ideal, Temps - 77-82 degree lights on / 73-75 degree lights off, RH - 35-45%, lots of air circulation, in plastic pots with additional holes drilled all around for extra o2 to pass through. Beats the hell out of me. I'm puzzled. Does yours do this? Hahaha. Maybe a bad batch???

Yes it's on cement floor. I thought about that too so I use 2 hygrometer at 3 different levels. Main hygrometer at top canopy, the "outdoor" cord from the main hygrometer in the soil, and secondary hygrometer directly on the floor. Based on the temps of the meter on the floor, I adjusted my in-take fan speed just low enough to let my HID's heat up the room/floor to the proper temperature. The light seems to be keeping the floor at a stable temp of Low - 71 & High - 73, whether lights are on or off. However, it feel slightly cold to the touch. Maybe I should just try to run some 2x4 under the pot to see if that makes any difference.

Figured it out. Crap hygrometer not reading at all. It stayed at 73 degrees no matter where I took it, whereas my main hygrometer kept adjusting to the correct temp. As I suspected and as you pointed out, it was the cold cement floor. Thanks.

I havent been having that problem but my room does have a low RH all year. My 10 gallon pot is dry enough in 2 days.

But, it looks like you got it figured out with a little help from friends.....I love seeing that.
Sometimes, it's right in front of you but you don't see it until someone says something, or, says it in a certain way and its like a light going on.

How about a top 3 in no particular order.

He has a lot of potent strains but Mediplant may be the most potent....hard to say. Going by the lab numbers, Freedom 35 came in at 25% total cannabinoids and Doc's Iranian Haze was 24%. Im going to have to do a full grow of the Iranian Haze as it was some excellent smoke.

ok cant wait to see this one unfold. your threads are always good shit! id like to pop each of these. is the katsu an s1 or is it 98bubba x katsu reversed? i just read that it was and who better to ask besides doc...
