Here's a pic of a male I cut down yesterday. These came on in 2 days.....Plants show pre flowers once they reach sexual maturity. My mother plant for example has girl parts and shes in 24 hour light. Just keep an eye on the space between the main branches, and the new shoots. Those nodes will grow little sacs or bananas to show male flowers, and little bulbs with hairs coming out of them for female flowers.
Finally, I dont see any male flowers. Only gave it a quick look though
well i don't see any growth coming from the node there's two fan leaves and two branches no new growthCould be male, but too blurry to know for sure.
Yeah there is definitely nothing like that on mineHere's a pic of a male I cut down yesterday. These came on in 2 days.....
ok sweet I'll be on the lookout. Hopefully I end up with four girlsCool, but now you know what to look for. Not uncommon for them to show sex 3-4 weeks into veg, should be soon.
Well i count the first 3point leaves as my first true leave i waited untill the fourth set came up and toped the fithHow long did you wait till you topped it the first time or did you wait till a certain height?
Yeah same here to far away to really tell. The plant's nodes look decussate to me, and it's my understanding until the nodes are distichous they are to immature to show sex. But as close as I could see I couldn't see sex or thrips, just a little heat damage.I noticed you post alot, almost daily. Take what I said and research it. keywords: thrip, thrip damage, how to treat thrips, how to spot a hermie (I couldnt tell, to far away), etc
Yea I've been watching for bugs every day and i can't realy tell if there is sex showing yetYeah same here to far away to really tell. They won't show sex until right before/as their nodes begin to grow in an alternate pattern (usually). Nothing is absolute LOL at least not en vivo.Yea I've been watching for bugs every day and i can't realy tell if there is sex showing yet
So they are supposed to start growing staggered? No straight across from each otherThey won't show sex until right before/as their nodes begin to grow in an alternate pattern (usually). Nothing is absolute LOL at least not en vivo.
Yes that's right, that is another signal of sexual maturity in cannabis. Mine do that about the same time they show pre-flowers.So they are supposed to start growing staggered? No straight across from each other
Ok ill be on the look outYes that's right, that is another signal of sexual maturity in cannabis. Mine do that about the same time they show pre-flowers.
I have another question a little off topic do you tie your down?Yes that's right, that is another signal of sexual maturity in cannabis. Mine do that about the same time they show pre-flowers.
No, not really. But there's nothing wrong with that. Usually the first time I try genetics I let them do their thing and about 3 weeks into flower I remove everything but what I'm going to let finish. I shoot for about 4 main colas/plant. I just threw away some nugs, at three/four weeks already the size of golf balls LOL!I have another question a little off topic do you tie your down?
Ok my question is more about watering. now that I've tied my branches down i can't even see the soil anymore. and i waterd last night and got a lot on the lower leaves is that a problum? No, not really. It depends on your space and your genetics and what you are comfortable with, you can't really do anything wrong as long as you learn from it.
