First off, thanks for getting me over from the Alien Tech Sector.
-your tap water? What is the PPM of your tap water? When I had problems like this I called the City and found I had 400 ppm tap water. Too much! Start with distilled water and add 1/5 the recommended of Clonex or another starter food. That should bring you to about 200 ppm.
My rule of thumb is +100 ppm feed for every 6 inches of growth. This is how you can feed a 4 foot plant, at 800 ppm without any problems. You can go even more than that after you know what you are doing. You NEED a PPM meter. But, once you understand the pH effects of the feed in your water, you can just add a pH balance without measuring pH very often. I wasted so much money on pH measurement equipment.
The best topping I think, is FIM. " F**K! I missed."
See how he is cutting through the middle of the lower mass?
