I dont start nutrients until about 21 days old or three weeks. Then 1/4 strength only, and alternate feedings with plain waterings. As stated earlier lose the time frame of three days. Let it get dry to the bone. Pot should be feather light when you lift it.
So u saying it ok to let it get bone dry...right...and this will not hurt ur babies.... so lets say it take a week to dry out what then

Stick your finger in the side of your pot and when the soil is dry about one to one and a half inches deep then water again. If it takes a week to do so then it takes a week, overwatering is done very easy and is a very common mistake for new growers and will kill your plants. Good luck :)

Yes its ok to let you plants go dry. That is sorta the point. MJ likes a dry up completely. Biggest newbie mistake is overwatering. Wait however long it takes for all the water in the medium to dry up. Then give it a plain water soaking and repeat. I didnt say it was ok to let it dry up and not water at all lol! If you go too long and plant starts to look sad, no problem. Just water, it will pop back in a couple hours.

Like smokenpassout said you can also do the lift/weight method. Pick up your pot/container and when it's light then water it. You can fill up another pot, same as the pot you have your seedlings in with dry soil and then you can compare the weight and should know when to water it. If you use this method wait till your pot is quite light close to the dry soil in the other pot.

That's the watering method I use and as a new grower myself with still a lot to learn it works well for me. Feel free to inbox me any questions or photos and I will try and help as best as I can :).

I gotta clarify watering is sooo important. I dont agree with the finger in the soil two inches method. Soil can be wet deep in the pot. Go by weight. I water well, and pick my pots up daily. A full pot feels heavy. A half full pot feels half heavy. A 1/4 full pot feels light but still has a bit of water weight. A dry pot is super light! This is when, you want to rewater. Remember as time passes, and your plants grow, they will use water faster. Once again if you miss watering or go too long your plant will let you know. Better to under than over water. Too much watering will cause toxicity and slow your growth. Waiting a little too long to water will cause the roots to branch deeper into the soil and look for more water, which is what you want.

Low humidity is fine. As long as it doesnt exceed 60 percent or so. I think temps are way more important. I was battling high temps as a newb with an army of cfl's. Now I battle low temps with mostly led, lol! Anywhoo just try and stay between 70-77

When she's a bit bigger you want to know how to LST or Top or Fim. I prefer LST. As soon as the plant ha some height I'll bend it and tie it down. The plant will respond by growing back up. So you bend down and tie again. Any side shoots just bend them low and watch them grow. Huge space saver and you can fill up heaps of horizontal space in your grow.

The water thing is important but so is patience. Get a good supply of bud to smoke and wait for your grow to grow and fully mature.

Know what to expect at every stage and look into what to do.

MJ smells strong.

RIU threads can make you LOL at work or other inappropriate places so have a cover story like "my friend just emailed me a funny story about cats"

Peace and good luck.

I use Kessil Led lights. I also have a couple of 105 actual watt 2700k cfl's that I am using as heaters more or less. They help me get twmps up from 68 with led's alone to about 75.
