How much you fertilize depends on the size and age If your of the plant. Look up the "Drain to Waste" instructions for Fox Farms nutrients. Follow this schedule, but lean towards the side of caution. Over fertilizing will burn your leaves.. If you are using fox farms soil you may not even need the veg nutes.

Thanks dude, I appreciate it... my plant is about 50 days old but it's only like 6-8 inches so I figured I'm doing something wrong. I've seen some plants that are 5 weeks and are at least 3-4 feet so I figured it might be that I'm not using fertilizer

You have a really long way to go, but we all learn in our own time.. The best thing to do is to start following people's grows, watching youtube videos and just reading RIU every day... People on here are most responsive to members that have done their research.

Fertilizer is likely only one of your issues. In the right soil, plants don't need much fertilizing. You have a small pot which will produce a small plant. I don't know your light situation, but plants need a ton of light.

50 days of veg is a long veg. Your plant is likely rootbound and I feel that soil sort of gets worn out over time. The PH can become unstable etc.

If you love your lady, as we all do, try this..
  • Get a 3 to 5 gallon pot.
  • Get a bottle of Bloom fertilizer.. I think that General Hydroponics floranova is a better value. One bottle will last a lifetime and there is no other nutes really needed.
  • Transplant... After transplanting let your lady veg for two more weeks. She'll be loving her new pot and soil. There is plenty of vegative nutrients in the fox farms soil so you don't need veg nutes.
  • After two weeks flip your lights and start adding the floranova Bloom. Start with 1/2 tsp per gallon then work your way up to 1 tsp in a few weeks. Feed with every other watering or every third watering.
  • 70 days after you flip your lights to 12/12 you can harvest. Read up on curing and drying methods.

Don't over water. Plants like the soil to dry out. Don't over feed. DO NOT let light get into your space during flower. It needs to be completely light-tight.

Post a pic if you can.. Maybe start a grow journal.. Good luck
