Oh yeah , I saw that video DST. I trimmed them all up and cut out all the pm I could see. I cant see any pm on the nuglets that I saved so I was hoping to skip that step . someone told me that it really effects the taste a lot. Do you still think I should perform that extra step just in case?

I would. there is alot you cannot see. I dont think the wash will kill the taste. just make sure you wash with the h202 solution for like 30sec then rinse in plain water for 30sec. agitate very lightly.
shake out the excess water and dry with fan for 1 day. then normal dry etc... good luck. pm sucks. just like mites. blech

very nice Amos Otis .. the quick flowering to harvest time sure is impressive...and she is really really pretty with the leaves pointing straight up like that. I really enjoy the plant strains that do that. i see nice full nugs all through the plant with no larf.. don't get much better then that... u got skillz kid.
I rinsed off my buds using the Jorge Cervantes method... with the H202 and now have them drying. There really was not any film on my water sugestting Powedery Mildew...that I could see at least.... so I prob wont do this again with my other Fireball plant. I used my scrog screen to dry the buds on .. 2 small oscilating fans and a space heater below. The nugs are pretty wet so Im glad its sunny out today with less humidity to deal with. got to get these nugs dry before they get moldy.

shit man, I hope it didn't spread. this stuffs a nightmare. I just read that the spores stay in your grow room and if you get it once your likely to get it again unless you like ozone the room. or a sulfur burn would be helpful I guess.

Thanks, DAT, but I give props to the breeders. I pretty much give the same regiman to every plant....most like it, some don't. For instance, the tall Fireballs will be down Wed @ 51 days, and it looks a lot like the QQ. The short Fireballs will be at least a week behind, and has been pretty PO'd the last couple weeks for some reason. I expect winter temps had a lot to do with the look of these....the coloring, and leaves reaching to the the heat of the lamp.

If you live in California, it's gonna be an uphill battle. Forgot where I read it but the environment out there has breed some really resistant powdery mildew. When I was out there (in cali) I got some clones and they came with PM as a bonus, now no more clones from random "growers". You my try some of the fungside aerosol sprays. Kind of like a bug bomb for fungie.

I had a plant come out like this. I just attributed it to a bad pheno, they all cant be winners. It kinda looks like the forum cookies cut. The one I had was from GHS cheese. I had 4 phenos and the low yielding bubblegum smelling one was just like this. I kept a different pheno.

what a Totally Tripped out day. THe sun was marvelous, casting wonderful light with DAt very special PNW winter southerm sun dip in the sky... I was able to wash all my buds out on our deck and the wind was perfect with beautiful lil gusts drying the buds as they hung on my scrog screen........... A very magical day.
There is something very spiritually revitalizing about washing buds. I really really dig it. Even if my buds don't have powdery midew I think im going to give them a sweet lil bath after the chop.
It made them perky and smell so intoxicating. like a baptism or something. U GOT TO TRY IT!
so this is it my last Large Pheno Fireball waterfarm.. kicked ASS!!!!
