Trimmin All Day

One of those hand cranked trimming machines are starting to looking pretty nice. I'm going from a couple plants at a time to a 4x4 sog and a few dwc's run in perpetual. I grew just under a lb one year with a couple plants and it took me a couple days to trim that. I couldn't even imagine trimming a LB or 2 by hand every month, even every other month, with a perpetual setup.
It starts to suck after the first few months of trimming 2 lbs a month. That's where I'm at now and increasing every month. I was up until 1 am last night trimming. I don't give up any time with my son for trimming so I start after he goes to bed. It's really getting fucking exhausting and I'm starting to hate it. I've had 2 people help in the past but I didn't like the work they did and I had to clean it up. So fuck that I'll just do it all by myself.

Yeah brother I know what you mean, other people rushing it and not doing the job right. It gets really exhausting doing this shit on our own.

yes sir, especially at 1am after 5 straight hours. And people think this is easy work and easy money, they have no idea how many hours of work it takes to produce 2 lbs of top shelve meds every month.
And then to wake up and do it again the next day, and most likely the next 2 days after that for some. Not an easy job at all. Mentally it breaks you down. Atleast it does me after 4 days going into 5.

Do you work full time?

Depends on what strain you are growing, some are a breeze, some take all fuckin day to get such a small amount. But that is mainly my fault for leaving all the leaves on from day 1-chop.

Who all is rockin a trim bin??? I wont trim without one anymore. Soo much kief. Ive been making the transition from nugs to bubble lately. Turned a bunch of outdoor from the summer in to some fire bubble and have been ripped as fuck all winter long. Love that 73u lol. bongsmilie :eyesmoke:

I can only handle about 4 hours at a time now before I want to gouge my eyes out with my scissors. It's the most mind numbing work ever...

About 15 minutes into a trim session, I already want out.

My trim bin is a whole foods paper bag. I find that trim dries a lot faster in paper bags. My perpetual produces 11 oz every two weeks, so 22 oz a month. It takes me about 12 hours to trim each harvest including breaks, some of you are very fast. My buds are SUPER clean, though, it's hard to find anything left on them at all. I usually do about two hours straight at a time, then about a 20 smoke break in the recliner. I HAVE to have shows constantly playing in the background, ones that I don't need to look at - judge shows mostly (love the people's court!). I just got into making kief in my new tumbler, but pressing it into hash isn't fun with the small hand held I have, I've GOT to invest in a huge leverage press. I smoked only bubble hash the first month after I got the tumbler, I don't remember almost anything that happened that month. Here's a link to my tumbler thread with pics - https://www.rollitup.org/t/pollenmaster-150.845539/

How much are you guys charging for hash?

That's the Trim bin I was talking about Tyler D. I love trimming over the screen a bunch of trichromes will fall through the 150u screen and can be collected. I take the 150u kief and further sift it through finer screens more specifically 110u then 70u for drysifting. Prices of hash vary from place to place.
