The Main-Lining Thread

Five days into 12/12, three days since I switched the lamp from 400W MH to 400W HPS.
Doing ok, starting to stretch, really do like the color these plants have demonstrated during this grow. Very even color plant to plant, also the symmetrics of the nodes on most of the plants has been very good, two of the plants lost symmetrics after the 2nd prune.

Looking good! Have you tried the tomato cages? They let you spread the center out more for better light penetration and air movement. It is also important (and hard) to keep all of the tips at the same height. Bend the fast ones to slow them down.
 
Forgive me as I asked this question elsewhere but it should have gone here!

21 days into flower tomorrow.

Didn't prune just before switching to 12/12.

Have a look at the pic - Do you think it'll be worth pruning tomorrow with it being the end of stretch or does it look tidy enough to leave as is?

I left that much foliage on mine, maybe even a little more. I just made sure they where nice and separated with good air flow to the center and they should do just fine. I'm curious as to which strain that is?

I have never used the cage mate, prob should be though :) edit : might actually make one today

Well, they have been reduced to two, there were three males to two females. That should work well in by cabinet, give them both room to grow. I have one of the males in my shop and depending on how long it take to start producing pollen I think I will harvest some pollen for possible future crossing. I really don't have the facilities for doing that, probably just store in the chilling section.

Have the two clones of these plants under the T5's and they are doing well.

Well that sucks GR but it is the process and you are right that
the remaining plants will take advantage of the extra space.

My first perfect mainliner was so impressive. I was going to impress Nugbuckets with my mastery of his process! I got my first male! I wanted a male - just not my perfect mainline plant!

In this pic, directly under my index finger it the node with the first true single leaf after seed pop.
To the left of my finger is the second set that popped out that only has 3 leaves each.
Which does everyone consider to be the "first node"?

If it is indeed the first real single leaf node then I am at 5 and poppin #6 ?
These nodes are TIGHT right?
She's not even 4" tall yet.
Gonna be great for Mainlining.
Must be the Phillips True color 315w CDM !
They are not stretching for light that's for damn sure !!!
