No 10 degree cooler air blowing through your lights isn't worth it and won't make a difference. And then you'll be blowing the hottest air where most your heat comes from back into your laundry room.

2000 watts of hps light is gonna bake whatever air is passing over them unless it was like 50 degree air in which case would cause some serious moisture problems. Even the 70 degree air passing over the 90 or more degree air in the light hoods might cause you some unwanted condensation

Well dude were there! Run the 6" blowing through the light hoods and out the window. Cause that's where 70% of your heat will be and you want it out. The 8" will suck whatever hot air is left from grow room and blow into laundry room. The air will mix and won't be a problem. Adding that ac vent will help.
Well..another thing is my 8" is brand new..I'd rather that blow outside for smell reasons..6" is uses from a friend

The 6" filter is old? Well get a new one before they start to flower. That's a terrible reason to not do the only thing that's gonna get your temos right other than an ac unit

Dude last time and im done lol. I have arthritis and hurts to text so much. Your wasting that 8" fan and that big ass filter cause your putting an elbow in it and reducing it to 6". That's gonna fuck you up. The 6" is already 6" buy a new filter and blow through your lights and out window. Then your 8" hung towards the back wall against the ceiling and blowing Into your laundry room. If you want to get even better tap Into your big air return box I saw in a photo of yours and then your ac will pic it up and distribute it evenly. Or you could even bow it out the window too. Is that a second intake I see your gonna make. That looks good man. Just remember you want those filters hung close to the back wall so they pull the air through the intake holes and the whole way through your grow room.

Keep looking for that magical answer bro but this is it. Everytime you come back with a what about if I do this.. It's over thinking and your gonna not want to change or redo shit even more than you don't want to now. Spend 80 bucks and get a small 6x12 carbon filter you'll be good

I'm just trying to do it the most efficient way lol..NOBODY else cares to chime in lol.

What if I just left it how I am and uses the 6" fan for an intake ? The air on floor is 65-70 wouldn't some of that blowing around the room help?

What if I ran ducting around the whole room floor and had holes every 6 inches in it blowing cool air around the floor..fuck I'm thinking too much again ...FML I know what ur saying bro..I need someone else to chime in that's all..someone who has experimented with this

If your going to have to passive Intake holes on that laundry room wall. Put your bathroom fan thing back on and put the filter on the outside of the door. And then put your 6" fan attached to the other intake blowing air in. You won't need to do the duct going around with hokes. The air will mix and be ok

So keep my 8" exhausting outside how it is..and put the fan back on the door and temporarily mount my 6" to the other passive and blow air straight in and see what it does ? Would that be the same as leaving the door open or no

Then you won't have to tear down your 8" fan since that's what you didn't want to do lol
Its just the way its all rigged up as u can see
.no room on either side of light..I'd have to move them closer and move around everyyything..which I would do..if I could get some MORE inputs on if its even worth doing .. Lol.

Where the heater is left of door is where I added other passive not in vid

Your forcing more power to pull the cold air from down below when you close the door. When you open the door there's no oressure pulling the steady flow of cool air through your grow room

Can you put the filter on the left side of the left light. And the fan in the center between the two lights?

Or even hang the filter above the left side of the left light with a quick bend to connect. Then your fan in between the two lights.
