i think you fucked them up when you transplanted. ten days from sprouting is too short of a period of time for the plant to have properly put roots down to be transpanted. when you are growing in soil you dont transplant until you can pull the plant, root ball and soil out as one from the container.
the soil shouldnt cruble or fall away you should be able to keep it all together. if this isnt the case then you need to wait longer. the roots should be coming out the bottom drain holes, or if you use plastic planters, you can squeez the planter together enough to see down the side of the pot and see the roots.
you said it "came right out of the soil" it shouldnt do that. thats why all the others died. if you go to wal-mart buy a thing of SuperThrive. alot of people, myself included will give it a dose before and/or after transplanting, and it is supposed to help with the transplant shock. other than that you just have to wait and see. you may even want to give it some nutes. if you can keep it alive long enough for the root system to fix itself it should be fine.
