yes, but the ACTUAL level of testosterone doesn't change. it's the RELATIVE testosterone level that decreases...
the real change is that
opiates cause your estrogen & progesterone to go way up. the effects of these high female sex hormones COULD make you grow breasts, but that's
not likely unless you've got liver disease or obesity. What's likely to happen is the following:
- decreased sex drive.
- erectile dysfunction (to some degree at least)
- increased subcutaneous fat layer (the 'smoothing' fat layer that females have--not very in-line with the body-building efforts) some people refer to this as "water weight." it could be anywhere from 5 to 25 pounds of "swelling."
^^^That's copied and pasted from "Richard_Smoker" from this thread,
https://drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73999. The 3rd bullet point is probably the explanation. Not sure how factually valid that claim is though. As far as anecdotal information, I've been using opiates pretty consistently (at least 2-3 times a week) for the past 2 years (occasionally heroin but I prefer cheaper quasilegal alternatives) and am in my earlier 20's but most older people I run into believe I'm 15-16 years old as well.
Might also have something to do with all the animal hormones in our food which we've been exposed to growing up? Most people swear kids keep getting younger and better looking with each generation, drug users or not. Perhaps something to do with natural selection? Less desire to find physically fit individuals to mate with and more with physical attractiveness?
