Yeah I did the work myself. Because I hated the if you bring the parts you do not have a warranty on the labor for the most part out here. I married a mechanic thinking it HAD to get better. He's a real doll and will break the hard bolts loose for me and taught me a couple tricks. Essentially he was a 9 level they don't do shit. So the moral to that story is marry a REAL mechanic.

Whoa that ended up off topic!
He breaks things rather then fixes them but his dad is a chief mech eng on cargo ships. :)

Over the last 15 yrs I've acquired tens of thousands of dollars worth of tools, along with tens of thousands of my fathers tools, because i DON'T trust shops. The only thing I don't do is tranny rebuilds and rear axle rebuilds, but I'll pull and install em for rebuilding. I just had to have the tranny in my truck rebuilt, i wasn't able to remove it so i dropped the truck off..all the factory clamps that held the wires and cooling tubes are gone and replaced with zipties..pissed me right off. I'm to anal about my work, i don't just fix something. I'll take the whole assy. apart, clean, sand, paint and lube it before it goes back together. I've never had any of my work come back to me due to my work.
Same here. I've made my money back and then some for all my tools by working on my friends stuff, and friends of friends and so on.

My ex-wife took her car to the dealer last week because she said the tranny was starting to slip, 2009 toyota corolla. They did the 60,000 mile service and charged her over $500 and I think they only changed the oil, wtf. And they told her the plugs were worn out and her tires were unevenly worn and that could be the reason the tranny was slipping but it didn't do it when they test drove it, again wtf these people get paid to do this.

I ended up changing the plugs, front brakes, and alternator belt for her. She took me to dinner and then we fucked on my couch that night.

Same here. My dad grew up in a one room shack with 10 siblings. I was taught never to pay anyone for repairing your stuff. I have collected a lot of tools over the years.

I even have tools for transmission rebuilds and piston honers.

I feel bad for dankster. Its hard to diagnose with out it being in front of me.

Its shitty that someone would shotgun the problem. That shows a lack of diagnostic skills or a shady mechanic.

Well I am glad to say, I am happy that I was informed of possible low blinker fluid.. But I use Mobil B1 full synthetic blinker stabilizer so it's definitely not that.... I plan on running holy water for my cooling system to keep away the bad karma.. pH'ed 6.66

@ODanksta What year make Model ? How Quick Does It Over HEat? Does it over heat while driving or sitting? When it begins to over heat are both (upper and lower rad) hoses hot. If you take your rad cap off and Start I do you see bubble in coolant tank or radiator?
