So ive noticed that really the amount of America born White boys/men dont work in the construction feilds anymore we let illegal immigrants work and fuck shit up i have no problem with Hispanic ppl im just saying u should learn English and understand how we build here in America sure u work hard and fast but ur quality is shit and ur pay is high im a 22 year old white boy and i bust my ass six days a week as a service roofer i put my heart into my work and get next to shit for it and in my whole time of working ive never seen another young guy whos working as hard as me whos white wtf! We need to stop being lazy American get the fuck up and work......srry if this upsets anyone im only sharing how i feel

The problem is Americas work ethic. This country is all about taking someone elses work and finding a way to profit from it. Why do you think the "illegal immigrants" were hired in the first place? Of course, there are many hardworking americans, but the bosses and the big wigs at the tops of businesses are all right where most people would like to be, in control.

But in a sence the working man is in control if we pushed illegals outta the work space we would have a country that is built right to last and we would get payed good money cuz we know whats right, and plus we would be teaching younger boys how to have responsibility and determination in turn would give them respect and the feeling of being a man. this is all my opinion btw

it's not cause your American,,it's cause your young,,,kids or teens or young adults today are growing up with,cell phones,,laptops,,tablets,,when I was young I had to ask permission to use the home phone,,,had a bed time,,,got slapped or grounded when I got in trouble,,,one of my kids is about to turn 17,,male,,,he comes and asks me for a drive to work,,I was like,,are you askin me for a drive to your job just because you can,,he says well it doesnt hurt to ask,,,I said and it doesn't hurt to get your own ass to your own job either,I been working since I was 12,,,cause your parents just weren't giving like parents today,illegal immigrants want to work,,they wanna leave there country and be more than some guy trying to sell his seester,,back on there own streets,,but gunnar,,,it's cause we are roofers,,,,,so stereo typed,,drunken roofer,,scumbag roofer,,dirty fuckin roofer,,you know without us it would be hard to keep the contents of your house dry,,but we have been labelled,,,and only make what we can make according to society's price on the roof,bullshit in my opinion because it's one of the most important parts of a home,,but pride in my job,,i got it,,fairness,,I got it,,,one of my slogans was Pride Applied,,,I care,,,but I know that young ppl got it way more amazing then I ever did,,,my 17 year old still at home works about 6-12 hours a week,,,yesterday was my birthday and I didn't even get a card from him,,,,never mind how you feel bro,,,think about how your possible future kid will feel,,technology is great,,but will prolly kill us all,,as you,sorry if this upsets anyone,,just how I feel

Whats a "Service Roofer " , ive held a Journeymans card in roofing for 35 yrs & never heard that term used , are you a REPAIRMAN in the roofing field or an INSTALLER of BUR hot Asphalt & Coal Tar Pitch , PVC , Rubber , TPO , shingle , slate & tile , Cold Process Emulsions & Spray Down systems ? A Journeyman roofer should be able to install them all .

If your roofing & getting SHIT PAY then your a non union roofer , look up your local roofers union local where Journeyman pay is around $30 an hour on the check plus insurance & pension plus $5 to $10 an hour vacation pay ,start here .

If your working with untrained mexicans who do shit work thats your employers fault , if you dont train men properly & have them attend apprenticeship school to learn the proper installation of over 100 different materials & roof systems how are they supposed to know?

You cant blame the mexicans for shit you dont like about your job , if more whites were willing to do hard filthy work there wouldnt be a need for mexicans , but as you pointed out white kids are lazy & dont wanna get dirty or be seperated fro, their cell phone .

The Mexicans i was fortunate enough to have work under me are some of the best trained roofers in the USA & qualified to install 30 yr warranted systems such as Tremco , Garland , Koppers ect & blow away most white workers in quality workmanship , work ethics , common sense , squares per man & saftey , if your in or near Mich , FLA or NC i can set you up an interview with a 50-100 million dollar a yr company if you like , i was a foreman here for 10 yrs before going into construction management .

Before being pissed because your mexican counterparts dont speak english very well why dont you learn to communicate with them by learning some simple spanish ? , its as common a language as english around the globe & a language that all US workers should know if they want to advance in the building trades .

You want to advance in roofing & make more pay your 2 best options are #1 go union & earn 50% more , #2 is to learn spanish , by learning the language of the most desired workers in the bldg trades you make yourself a valuable assett to companies & command more pay .

I fix all the failed jobs ive done tpo and torch down no hot tarr so ya A repair man i run the service department and in Co we dont have a union for roofing i get payed 575$ a week on salary i can throw down Some squares tho im just tired of all the jobs leaking and not passing inspection im sick of seeing illegal immigrants maken 30,000 a month to fuck up while i fix all there crap and make pennys

Don't think I've ever seen a mexican with down's syndrome now that I think about it.

Not sure why it pisses you off. You should be proud and it should inflate your little ego that you're working harder than the others.

Ok i get it they want better but i promise u if ur a roofer u kno not to flip a shingle around and use the whole thing for a starter or to not leave the job without putting counter flashing on a swamp cooler or put only 4 nails in a shingle shit like that they just wanna go fast they dont put any heart into a beautifully finished product

im a 3x loser lol " convinced felon " no one would wants me to be a doctor or anything important to where i can make more money i get perks tho a truck free gas payed vacation lil shit the money isnt my problem its the lazy ass roofers these days
