First LED build CXB3590

In the case of forced air cooling for heatsinks, pushing is more efficient than pulling. It may have something to do with turbulence if you were to try pull air into square holes with sharp edges like the end of a heatsink, and there may be other reasons as well. I have tested that theory and it holds true, consistently lower temps when pushing.

Since your heatsinks are long, you would benefit from a shroud to help keep the air in the fin channels. That way you could have one fan in the center rather than multiple fans which would fight with each other. If you only extend the shrouds to within 1.5' of the ends, you will still get very good cooling to the ends of the heatsinks, but you could retain some passive cooling ability in the case of a fan failure or fan PSU failure.
 
Sounds good. You guys have prevented me from doing so Mich trial and error. I'll use the method @SupraSPL described above. Now its just logistics to fit my veg and bloom into a 6x6 space. I'm thinking a 2x2.5 gorilla tent will work well with my veg up high and cloner below. Since the clones love a very small amount of light, the light that leaks past the veg should be plenty for the clonies
 
Question:
Wiring all my drivers to one AC line. I don't want to use a plug power strip I want it hard wired. Junction box? How are you guys doing this? I don't like the thought of wire nuts and junction boxes. I know there's a better way bit my electrician skills are mediocre at best
 
Use a junction box with a piece on din rail with terminal strips. Jump the hot ac to one terminal block and the neutral to another and hook one driver to that. Then jump on the same two points to another 2 terminal points and put your next one. And so on. Keeps everything neat and tidy. That's how it's done in industry and is cheap yet effective. If you Google din rail and terminal points you should understand with minimal electrical knowledge. Your using the terminal blocks to put all your drivers in parallel so they all see the same voltage.
 
The pineapple chunk I grew from barneys was a long flowering hog of a girl. She was funky and a couple of my buddies who are very seasoned vets in the grow game around here thought it was some of the strongest stuff they have ever smoked. Too strong all most. But then one of them grew it and couldn't please his girls, picky whoooores they were and turned out like shit. Guess it comes to luck of the draw. Good luck bro. If you need n e help with the terminal strips give me a shout. I've seen people using Wago connectors as well for the terminations.

I used wire nuts but upgraded to wagos for the next builds and I have parts for 4 CBX3590 3000k lol I've got shit thats keeping from doing them right now. AS soon as I'm done what I'm doing gonna finish the other panels.

Yeah watch out I had a good pheno of Pineapple chunk but lost it because the dispensary I was working for the owner didn't want it . He wanted og and the few I had came out bad ass but didn't get to harvest it because I got into a car accident 1 week before harvest. I broke my neck and jaw, I almost died. The THC Bomb is bomb. I'm growing it now and I made a mom of it lol.

Damn brother. Glad you're OK. After I liked that post I just wanted to follow up: I like the part about the pineapple and bomb...not the accident!
