It all boils down to the fat cats at the top want more money. And they don't care how many heads they have to step on to get there.
So you are a CEO, you have found that if you fire all of your workers and hire overseas VISA workers you will save millions of dollars each year. How many CEO's does it take to lower the standard of living? They simply have no respect for you, the community city or country. They don't live here.
I'm a little puzzled. What is the significance of this post? Thanks in advance.
I'm done with this thread you will just keep on repeating the same bullshit thinking that the people on this thread are lazy because we want more money for the hard work we do I probably do more work than any of you pricks have ever done in your life In a day. Just because you want to be able to have 3 Lamborghinis. So you can take all the money you want that I earn and just barely give me any of it. All of you people that believe that is right can go eat a fucking dick. Peace and love to all those out there trying their hardest to get by.
and get this..walmart will close down a complete site to re-staff with those willing to take the minimum, while the current employees are outside picketing..what do you suppose the daily <loss> for a closed walmart is vs. increasing the wage a few pennies?Already addressed
Businesses hold the bargaining power when it comes to negotiating wages. If you won't take the minimum wage job, somebody else will. Businesses know that, that's the problem
I have a John Deere tractor and grow a garden. I eat vegetables, cheese, nuts, eggs and sometimes meat. I do not eat dicks, or want even one Lamborghini.
I have a working prick too, I attribute that to my diet and good exercise and a fine relationship.
Humans are very susceptible to conditioning that's for sure.Indoctrination is hard to lose.
People actually believe they are powerless and that government makes all the rules.
An older 1988 model 950. It has a bucket and back hoe, handy for firewood, road maintaining summer and winter... friends have used it to hay and brush hog with.Is the JD a CUT or a full size tractor? I bought a 40 horse CUT 15 years ago and never regretted it. I have several attachments including a backhoe. I have some 33 deg slopes on my property and that thing crawls right up, (nearly crapped my pants a couple of times). Just amazing tool.
Thinking about getting a decent size trackhoe; that and then a bulldozer should about do me ... seems like that would be lots of fun.
@U Ben --- ain't farming great! When I retire from my day job I'll enjoy it even more.
Your radar don`t see that as an internet ..."Nuke" ? Buck`s looking for Iodine pills on the cheap.....Dude threw 3 of them the other day....
I think of you as comic relief.Thanks. Now please don't bother reading my posts. I'm not worthy of you.
I understood what you said. You are simply wrong. Pretending those who disagree with you lack understanding is a sign of closed mindedness.Look, sounding things out isn't the same as comprehension. You didn't understand my post. You can't refute what you don't understand... Well you can, but it isn't very enlightening.

So they found a schmuck who sells his $15.00/hr labor for $7.50? No, it's all you're able to get. That's all you're worth. Your last statement, " that's just all they choose to pay their employees so they can drive around in their fancy cars," tells so much about you.See that is the key word only I could sell my car for $2000 when it was worth $30,000.Or I can find a schmuck and sell him a $700 car for 5000 dollars. Just because it's what they pay for it doesn't mean it was What it was worth. It's not like it's all coming I can pay you that's just all they choose to pay their employees so they can drive around in their fancy cars.
Except your chart doesn't show wages declining.Well then why can't you prove it?
The chart I posted shows wages stagnating while productivity remains constant, that's it. Then I provided evidence to support my claim that the root cause is legislation that got passed in favor of big business (Buckley v. Valeo in 1976 & First National Bank of Boston v. Bellotti in 1978 ) that transferred the overwhelming majority of economic gains to the upper class.
See how that works?
So again, do you have any evidence to support your claim or not? How does the fact that industrial jobs declined while service jobs increased connect to lower wages across the board, including in the industrial sector? If what you're claiming was actually correct, wages in industrial jobs would not have declined. Does that register inside your brain?
"We are also making the same old crap that we started making to begin with." Yet, you think you suddenly deserve more. How do I not get it my company has three buildings there are two shitty trucks that are already paid for that we have to use. A couple of shady forklift that always break down that we have 2 use The only new things are the machines. And they're already paid for. So there's no way my company is sending 11 million a month. Every time they increase production and get new contracts with new customers. We have to do more work than the original job we started doing. And even though they're getting Hundreds of thousands of more dollars because of that new contract and because we are filling the orders we do not see a penny of the money. We are also making the same old crap that we started making to begin with.
The minimum wage in 1970 was $1.60. So $7.71 is good with you? Isn't that what it is now?Since 1970 minimum wage has risen by. 353%. But consumer prices have risen by 482%. What should happen is the increase in minimum wage should match if not exceed the increase in consumer prices.
You want more money and seem perfectly willing to just take it from others. I'm not seeing how you're any more "deserving" than others. It all boils down to the fat cats at the top want more money. And they don't care how many heads they have to step on to get there.
