I would guess another week or so. Your pics suck and it's hard to tell.

DO NOT LET THEM DRY OUT BEFORE HARVEST!!! You want them to have a good drink just before harvest. Remember, the slower the dry the better the ganja. If they have a lot of moisture inside them, they will dry slower.

lol.. yeah bad pics but totally agree not ready... you need to get a magnifying scope so you can see the trichromes... when you see the ambers starting you'll know what to look for.. growing on time tables isn't a good idea..you really need to be scoping the trichromes.

I'll agree with the others, give it some time.

Look for the calyx to swell and the pistil to start receding, it'll be about time then, just watch the trichomes and harvest when they suit you. :bigjoint:

Have you noticed any swelling up? Looks like she has been swelling for a few days already. Be patient though looks to be atleast 10-14 days. Calyxs are hard to miss when they swell. Im going on week 9 with my afghani, she should have been done by now but ive had some issues. You will notice her fruits will start to look more like super frosty weed from a bag once she ripens good. Is she 80% cloudy already?

Ur almost there imo 7-14 days go for 30% amber trichomes give them 24h darkness before harvest i find it helps push them alil more into being ripe do u have a dry-curing process figured out yet?

just planned on hanging em in the same room then puttting in jar.
its my first grow, ive given them water for last 3-4 waterings, the runoff is barley red at all like before, lots of upper leaves yellowing and dieing off

Looking awesome, but another week or two before harvest. Get yourself a microscope like you see in @SPLFreak808's pic. I have the same one and it's handy as hell. I only see a few amber trich's. Its hard to tell which are cloudy and which are clear though. I cut while they're fresh, easier to get them looking pretty. Once they're dried it's hard because all the leaves hook in to the bud.

Well done cbuts you're nearly there, ur hard work is paying off. don't chop now tho like the other guys said wait for the pistils to start receding into the expanding calyx. You can see you still have long and "alive" looking pistils, this means they're still going.
When contemplating harvest there are a few things you should look out for.
1. Calyx's really push at the end and you will see them fatten up overnight.
2. Pistils will stop sprouting and eventually stop pushing out, they should change colour but this doesn't allwAys happen.

When these two happen it will look like u have huge calyx and small pistol ratio, keep an eye out tho coz either one of these would make it seem like the other has happened. So really u just gotta watch carefully.

Finally u want to be harvesting ur weed when the trichones show a colour ratio that best relates to the high you want, all clear makes for some cerebral heady high weed, all Amber makes for some knockout couch locky weed ( which is what afghans do best), and a mix of clear cloudy and Amber makes for weed that is somewhere in between.

If u want my advice get urself a microscope or jewellers loom and inspect the trichones on a daily basis until you see atleast 25% of them turn cloudy.

you wanna get this kinda scope thats you can see the heads with easier your only going to see three different looks one is a clear glassy trichrome...not done
next your trichromes will go from clear to looking like they filled with semen.... close to being done
lastly the head of the trichromes will start to turn brown/amber... when you can place the microscope on the cola and without looking hard to find them see at least 20% amber heads your ready to harvest ... if your not seeing a descent amount of amber heads anywhere you place the scope... your not ready yetimage1 4.JPG

Yeah bro get minimum 100x ability, mines 60x-100x and I don't start seeing good detail until around 80-85x at 100x you see all you need. Those trichs will look like little trees they'll be so magnified!!:weed:

In my original post i say wait until 25% turn cloudy, I don't mean wait til you see cloudys then chop, but more of a bare minimum before u chop.
