Help choosing an LED replacement for 1000HPS?

Would prefer option to vary spectra and intensity like on their RW models, tho.
That would increase the BOM significantly.............i think their will be an option to dim though??not sure....................you want real spectra change on the fly, heliospectra is for you:)

each unit will be tailored to 3k or 4k or 5k so people can mix. From what I understand anyways? Just waiting like everybody else!
releasing right into the cob wars!...........lol

Really just want more blue and less wattage in veg and more red and more wattage in flower. Aren't the heliospectra like $6,000?

Area 51 RW150's have that option. Run the 5700K alone at 100W or add on the red for 150W. Lumigrow has variable red, white, and blue.
So your gonna MANUALLY change the knobs/switches to replicate dawn till dusk cycle??? lol ......also NO far red ^^ on either of those options.............kinda important on flowering annuals imo:wink:

Lets not get started on lab results again. That was last night. We are all doing those numbers. If most of the people on this site got their shit tested you'd be blown away. 25-27 percent is the norm now a days. Light doesn't matter.
Personally I am impressed by his results but more importantly is the difference between the numbers, why dismiss that data? I am willing to type a bunch of words but I am not willing to hook up an HPS ever again, let alone to do a painstaking side by side. We've been running many of the same cuttings for years under both HPS and LED and quality has improved consistently, significantly and objectively. I like my buds to come to a clean sticky stinky finish in <60 days. Yields improved drastically and gpw has about tripled and headed for quadruple. I can use any light I want, if lights didnt matter Id simply use the cheapest and expect 35% THC by your metrics. If you are convinced that light doesnt matter then I recommend these babies

But are you considering veg times? Cuz the one guy who's showing off saying he did a pound and a half with 300 watt led vegged for months and months and months. Those numbers are achievable with any light. Im not seeing led blowing away hps like you guys are claiming. I do think its one hell of a lamp though.
If your goal was to veg fast you can maximize it with correctly timed potting up, pot size and PPFD. Over-vegging in super soil does not increase yield it decreases it, unless you pot up and/or top dress. It can lead to ladies that are too tall for many indoor spaces. Anyway, judging by veg time is a useless metric.

For example I don't try to veg as fast as I can, I time it so they are not under vegged or over vegged when it is time to move them into the flower tents. Some ladies that I want to skip a few cycles, I slow them down by delaying potting up and reducing PPFD, so they might veg for 4 months in a small pot before they get put back into rotation. Some get fast-tracked so I can run them again ASAP.

WTF hahahaha hey idiot this thread is about a led to replace 1000 watt ,, get back to your closet anonymous ..Posting shit like that what wrong with you ? but let me guess that is 1/2 pound haul there right ???
but before you fuck off please tell us what was the cost to get that yield hahah 300 - 500 - 700 bucks ???
Sorry to tell you but check greengenes 1000w hps vs 750w Apache tech LED run on YouTube . Complete detailed with lab results using the real Santa Cruz cut of blue dream . After you watch it watch some more of his grows including the new gorilla glue videos featuring his new cob. After that scratch your head when you find out your stuck in 2010 still, while us led growers are moving along with technology and getting better high quality buds and same yield with less electricity !!! Yea greengenes already blasted that 1000w away and many other skilled people in this thread have as well . At the end of the day if yield is not the goal , my LEDs are producing higher quality buds due to the better spectrum than hps. Rollitup and smoke it up . Hps will be long gone soon ..!

Im getting the feeling you've never had your buds tested. It would be great data if you post your results for us. You probably have never even walked into a testing lab. And yet you try and slam me on the forums. You don't know about tested buds. Your trying to blow your own horn and have never even had a bud tested. HAHAHAAHHA

Yea Vegging times is a useless measurement for yielding plants. Your bull shitting people now and its not that cool.
